Having a career as a therapist is one of the greatest joys of my life. I'm grateful for the opportunity to walk with/guide my clients through whatever struggles they face. As your therapist, I will strive to create a person-centered, empathetic, supportive, encouraging, and non-judgmental atmosphere. I am highly passionate about Marriage Counseling, Trauma-Focused Counseling, and working with individuals who are on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ages 14+. Additionally, I can provide screenings (not a diagnostic evaluation) for Autism Spectrum Disorder in toddlers, & then refer to a psychiatrist if needed.
I practice mostly with a Strengths-Based & Experiential approach that encourages my clients to be their most authentic self in the process of change. Additionally, I work from a systemic perspective, which means that I view clients’ family, relationships, and larger social context as being resources in solving problems.
Every person faces different challenges in life & using a variety of techniques can help me focus on developing a path that fits each individual person for the direction they wish to grow. Being in a place where you feel hopeless, lost, or out of control can be extremely difficult to carry on your own; I want to be there with you to help you carry the load.
