I understand it takes a tremendous amount of courage to reach out for support. I work with college students, young professionals and adults who are seeking relief from difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or the impacts of trauma. My professional interests also include identity development and emerging adulthood, relationship concerns, grief and loss, and coping with adjustments and transitions. In therapy, I help you develop self-compassion and personal insight so you can let go of shame and fear, and start building a life worth living.
I strive to develop a relationship that allows us to work together to best understand your unique goals, and to provide you with both the tools and the motivation to keep moving forward. It is also my priority to maintain a respectful and culturally sensitive approach in my work with clients to ensure therapy is a safe and supportive environment.
My counseling style is warm, compassionate, strengths-focused and collaborative. I am a Psychodramatist, using an action alternative to traditional talk therapy to help you reach new levels of growth. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an eye movement therapy used to relieve difficulties associated with issues such as trauma.
