My aim for my clients is to gain an attitude of self-compassion and an empowered mindset. I believe that, generally, we are all doing the best we can with what we have. Unfortunately, sometimes what we have are old stories or traumas deeply embedded in our minds and bodies that make it difficult to find fulfillment in ourselves and in our relationships. Together, we can create distance from such burdensome threats to our current well-being. Using a relationship-focused, holistic therapeutic approach, I work to help my clients untether from fears and allow them to reach their full capacity to connect, to love, and to live.
One’s journey to healing is as unique as one’s life story. I use humor, warmth, and authenticity to create a trusting bond that allows for engagement in honest reflection upon forces, past and present, that shape my clients’ stories. By increasing awareness of why we feel and act certain ways, we will uncover how to shift unhelpful patterns.
I would be honored to help guide your journey to feeling freer and making meaning of your story. I offer individual and group therapy, as well as couples therapy. Let’s uncover what nourishes your soul, revitalizes your relationships, and, together, create a life that matches the authentic you.
