Together, we will discover your nervous system's
dance
and how to shift into a rhythm that evokes calm, joy, creativity, and love.
I am here to tell you, you are not broken, even if your mind may be suggesting that you are. It is probable that these thoughts are connected to trauma—a way to make sense out of how uncomfortable you feel in your own body. Trauma can impact our health, body, emotions, relationships, perception of self and reality. Somatic Therapy may support you finding some relief in being you. Let's begin to explore and integrate what's causing this pain and psychological suffering without bypassing or minimizing your experiences. Your body has the wisdom to provide the answers. We just need to listen, honor and acknowledge its truth.

As an expressive arts therapist, we can work creatively, using art, music,
movement
, or being in nature together.
Therapy is a space you carve out with me to reconnect - with yourself, your goals, your life’s meaning, your passion, your creativity, your spiritual path. We all struggle with difficult things at times; they pull us away from who we want to be, or the path we intend to walk in life. I believe relationships are the most important healers we have in our lives – starting with your relationship with yourself! Extending to all your other important and beloved relationships - with family, friends, community, planet, and spirit. No matter where you are, your journey to self-empowerment and joy begins Right Here. I will be there with you.

I uniquely combine traditional talk therapy, mindful

and RESET Breathwork to support you in processing stuck emotions and experiences so that you can create safety in your nervous system, which is responsible for 95% of your decisions.
Are you trying to get sober or manage life sober? It’s really freaking hard. I’ve been there. They say that when you get sober, everything will naturally fall into place and to “just trust the process.” But what do you do when your mind keeps replaying old messages and memories that contributed to you wanting to drink and use in the first place? What do you do when the simplest of experiences bring up so much stress and anxiety that it feels impossible to live life sanely without putting something dangerous into your body? These experiences are more common than you might think. You're not alone.

therapist and someone who specializes in somatic approaches, I help clients reconnect with their bodies as a pathway to better mental health.
You deserve to feel good in your body. You deserve relationships that contribute to your well-being- not detract from it. You deserve to enjoy healthy expressions of your sexuality. But due to societal pressures and less-than-helpful toxic norms and legacies, these are areas where many people struggle. As a sex-positive, anti-racist, queer & trans-knowledgeable therapist, I’m here to provide non-judgemental support. In therapy, you’ll learn gentle tools to help you love and accept your body, manage your stress, elevate your mood, and improve your relationships.

This journey is a 6 week, once a week session that is facilitated through a body based, somatic &/or

therapy approach which incorporates a mixture of talk therapy, expressive arts, and eastern spiritual cultural practices like tantra.
Perhaps sex, intimacy, & communication with your partner, your beloved, is uncomfortable & chaotic. This in itself can be so difficult to cope with, in addition to the expectations of family & society. What if I told you it is not you or your partner’s fault? Society as a whole has made sex, relationships & marriage a topic of taboo and transactional expectation. As a result, we’ve been so misinformed about what sex, sexuality, & sensuality looks like on us.

Are you needing some help navigating your life journey? We are here to walk alongside you while you heal. You are not what has happened to you. Your trauma and pain does not define you. Sometimes in order to separate from our story we must tell our story, understand it, and truly be heard and acknowledged. You are so much more than your story. As your therapy team we will help you to navigate your own healing journey. Whether you have experienced trauma, are struggling with lack of purpose, feeling empty or alone, or experiencing feeling fragmented or broken. You are not alone and healing is possible!

I have practice using visual art, music, drama, poetry, writing, and
dance
in therapy.
I am a queer artist, activist and therapist. I believe deeply in healing, and my practice as a therapist is one way I use my own healing journey to inform and create space for others to explore theirs. I seek to center my work on empowering and supporting people in the LGBTQIA+ community navigating all the emotional work it takes to exist in an oppressive culture - anxiety, depression, relationships, sex, gender, substance use, family, housing, employment, etc. Whether directly or indirectly through my practice, I also work to uplift and center the empowerment of queer, trans*, Black, indigenous and people of color (QTBIPOC).

How can I find a therapist in California?
Search for nearby therapists or counselors by inputting your city, town, or suburb; or zip code; or a provider’s name into the search bar. From there, you can filter providers by the issues they treat, cost, insurance, gender, and other factors to find providers who are well-suited to your needs. To navigate between locations within the same country, enter a new city or zip code into the search bar.

Is online therapy a good option?
Therapy conducted online can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your zip code.
What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counselor?
Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are all licensed mental health professionals. In the US, psychologists have earned a doctoral degree. The terms “therapist” and “counselor” are used somewhat interchangeably, but generally therapists offer longer-term, mental health care, while counselors offer shorter-term care that may focus on one domain, such as marriage, career, or academic challenges.
What type of therapist is right for me?
Clients should consider factors such as insurance coverage and their primary reason(s) for seeking therapy to determine the type of professional best suited to their needs. Someone struggling with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, for example, may wish to seek out a clinical psychologist or therapist, while someone navigating career obstacles or marital upheaval may benefit from seeing a counselor who can offer short-term, targeted support.
Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?
The Psychology Today directory lists providers who offer legitimate mental health services to the public, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors. Many have been licensed by the country or state where they practice; providers whose license or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Some clinicians or organizations provide services for which their state or country does not offer licenses, such as pastoral counseling. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.
What type of therapy is right for me?
The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.
Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?
Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.
