Growing up in rural Arkansas gave me a unique perspective that has evolved as I have relocated to Virginia, Philadelphia, Ireland and Connecticut, and most recently, back to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I believe that being a parent is one of life's biggest challenges as well as one of its greatest joys.
