My ideal clients are immigrants, adults, couples, and families navigating complex life transitions while balancing cultural expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and personal values. Many are high-functioning, responsible, and deeply committed to their families or faith, yet feel emotionally exhausted or stuck, which manifests in symptoms of anxiety, depression, or chronic stress. I will help clients gain relief, clarity, and forward momentum through therapy.
I hold a PhD from the University of Chicago, an MSW from Norfolk State University, and a Master of Divinity from Loyola University Chicago.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful behavioral change. In addition, I offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to integrate faith into the therapeutic process.
I provide therapy in Korean and English, allowing clients to communicate with depth and emotional clarity in their preferred language. My practice is grounded in cultural humility, compassion, clinical rigor, and creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to move forward with confidence.
