I have three areas of expertise - substance use, eating disorders and gender affirming care. Substance use includes anything from being curious about your relationship to substances to wanting to stop using completely. Eating issues can range from poor body image to binging/purging/restricting on a daily basis. In regards to gender affirming care - as a trans guy, I have a special place in my heart for clients who are exploring their gender/sexuality. Whether you are just starting to question or worried about coming out or need letters to obtain appropriate medical care - a safe place to process can be very helpful.
My training is in both talk therapy and skills-based therapy. So if you want to talk it out - we can. If you want some concrete skills, we can make that our focus. Or if you want something in between - we can do a little bit of both.
Let's get curious together and help you take action towards becoming your most authentic and effective self.

DBT Skills Group
DBT groups are not your traditional talk therapy. They are skills based - think of it more as a class. There are four different categories of skills that you will learn - mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. This group will provide you with a toolkit of life skills to help you replace any ineffective behaviors, thoughts patterns or habits.
