I work with deeply feeling and highly sensitive teens and adults looking to improve their confidence and coping. Improving confidence in who we are and in our daily functioning has a positive impact on all aspects of our daily life. This includes our mood, relationships, functioning, and self-talk. My goal is to provide a safe and accepting space for my clients to rediscover who they are and why they function the way that they do, gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, as well as learn new coping strategies to help themselves through their deep and highly sensitive feelings.
I offer trauma informed care that dives deep into root causes for your symptoms and their impacts on your confidence, coping, functioning, mood, and relationships. I offer EMDR, Equine Assisted EMDR, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, CBT, and DBT skills training. I am neurodivergent and queer allied and will incorporate faith at the client's request.

Groups
Equine Assisted Self-Esteem and Social Skills
These groups serve those needing to improve their sense of self and social skills. Clients will learn about themselves and their relational skills while gaining inner confidence and self acceptance. Each group will have 3-6 participants of the same age range and are offered for pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. Groups will consist of ground-based equine activities and are not a riding based experience. Groups are offered in Huntersville at a private farm near Gilead Road. No horse experience is necessary.
