About
Seeking therapy can be an intimidating experience. My goal is to ease any anxiety around asking for help by creating a safe space for you to be authentic, regardless of what you're going through. I view life's challenges through a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens and utilize various therapeutic approaches catered to your specific needs. I specialize in art therapy, and can incorporate the use of art into session if you are interested in processing your experiences and emotions in a more creative, expressive way. Please know that to engage in art therapy, no prior art experience is needed!
I have assisted individuals from diverse backgrounds in coping with the depression and anxiety that often comes with past traumatic experiences and significant life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, and divorce.
When we meet, I hope you'll feel as though you are talking to a trusted friend who genuinely cares for your well-being. I welcome you into a safe environment where you can share and process your experiences, emotions, thoughts, and concerns with a non-judgmental, caring, gentle, and patient response.
