What lights me up about therapy is helping someone to live their most authentic life. I get energized hearing clients ask the existential questions and work to bring their intellectual and felt experiences into alignment. I'm a good fit for those looking to heal from trauma and better understand their history, who want to feel better, but also want feel okay in their own skin. Often my clients are working through difficult relational or family of origin experiences, seeking to relate to loved ones (and themselves) in a new way. I also have a passion for helping navigate burnout, especially with healthcare and helping professionals.
Many of us have strong inner caretakers that began work long before a career helping others. Others may struggle with perfectionism or people pleasing. We all develop protective strategies to help us navigate our relationships and day to day life. Whatever the situation may be, parts of us are often tired and needing a change. Here is where I can help.
It is my hope that all of my clients not only find relief, but greater acceptance and connectedness with self. For me, the therapeutic relationship means everything in helping make this happen. It is because of this belief that I offer free 30 minute consultations, in hopes of bringing a little ease to the process of finding the right therapist.
