I have worked in mental health for eight years, with most of my work experience being community-based with BIPOC. I focus on trauma-informed care, specializing in complex trauma, grief, and existential concerns.
As an existential-humanistic therapist, I aim to guide you in exploring what it means to be human and take responsibility for your life. I am trauma-informed and person-centered, ensuring therapy sessions are led by your pace in a way that feels safe to you, with goals aligned with your hopes and needs.
As a divorced, cisgender, LGBTQ woman living with chronic illness, I recognize & affirm your intersecting identities, while understanding I can never know your experiences firsthand. Women & Femme Body Image Group
This group offers a space to share experiences, build an understanding of bodies through the male gaze and patriarchal standards, and explore our relationships with food and exercise. Through guided discussions, participants will gain tools to build body neutrality, increase self-esteem, and foster a healthier, more accepting self-image. Topics covered will include pornography, social media, movement vs. exercise, chronic illness, birth, hormone changes, and more. It’s an invitation to come as you are, find community, and reframe the way you see yourself. **This group is in-person ONLY** from 1/9/25 - 4/3/25.
