About
Resilience: “The capacity of a person to maintain their core purpose and integrity in the face of dramatically changed circumstances.” Resilience, at its core, relates to the process of adapting to challenging circumstances. Adaptation does not necessarily mean letting go of past experiences, challenges, or losses, but rather the act of learning to live with pain in a manner that allows you to survive. In seeking support, you are doing just that. Welcome to Resilience Counseling, PLLC.
As a Clinical Social Worker and Certified Child Life Specialist, I strive to ensure that youth, adults, and families have the internal and external resources necessary to adapt to life's challenges. I work from a person-centered, attachment theory lens, and my therapeutic style is warm, relational, and collaborative.
Within each of us exists an innate capacity to heal. As your therapist, I will strive to empower you to integrate grief, loss, pain and trauma into your current existence, allowing you to not only survive, but to thrive. I will partner with you as you identify and build on your strengths, explore the impact of pain, and journey toward healing.
