Life can be heartbreakingly difficult, and progress is often nonlinear – however, I am here to walk with you on your path to healing. I believe that everyone is capable of change and that change happens through the collaboration between client and counselor. I am honored to be a part of your journey. Often we experience a disconnect between our mind and our bodies. I use mindfulness and somatic techniques to help you reconnect and take steps to return to wholeness.
I am experienced working with mood disorders, developmental wounding, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, chronic pain, and identity issues. I am passionate about providing LGBTQIA+-affirming care, women’s issues, and systemic barriers to mental health resources.
I completed my master’s degree in counselor education from Virginia Tech in 2020. I have been with A Tree Planted since 2021, with a developing focus on somatic work. I am currently registered as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia.
