Accepting clients from Wisconsin and Illinois, Caitie works with highly motivated individual adults and couples, helping them navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, women’s health issues, and sex-related concerns - so they can live the life they want. She is trained in EMDR, which facilitates the reprocessing of distressing experiences so they lose their emotional charge and stop interfering with your life. Some specialty treatment areas include trauma in the forms of medical, religious, interpersonal, childhood, and one-time traumatic events and phobias.
Her methodology with EMDR is trauma-informed and prioritizes your sense of safety. She takes a “slow is smooth, smooth is fast” approach, ensuring that you always feel completely in control and have all the necessary tools onboard to be an observer of your past, but not relive it.
Caitie also has specialized training in peri/menopause care and female sexual pain disorders. She is currently training in sex therapy and sexuality education. Woven into all modalities are somatic practices and tools for healthier communication and emotional regulation. She loves puns and dark humor, and hates therapy speak (but sometimes can't help it).
