A former film industry professional, I was drawn to counseling in order to fulfill a passion for helping teens and young adults discover who they want to be in the world. I bring authenticity, warmth, and humor to every session. My relational approach to counseling rests on the notion that no matter how uphill, twisty, or dark a path may be, walking it with someone is always easier than walking it alone. With deep clinical experience in both hospital and academic settings, my work primarily focuses on trauma, depression and anxiety, and issues within the LGBTQIA+ community.
I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, where I gained a particular appreciation for holistic, existential practice. While I aim to create an inviting and comfortable environment in our mill building setting, I find that my best work is done in conjunction with Simon, my Golden Retriever, who may join us!
