I wish to connect with clients who are seeking empowerment, growth, and change. I truly enjoy being someone to help find and identify strengths that my clients possess, while also being an honest and direct source of motivation.
I take a collaborative approach with clients and prefer to work with you, where you are at. I don't like hierarchy systems, and treat clients as one of my peers. I infuse art, music, animals, and games into therapy to create a laid-back environment. Therapy is not waving a magic wand to make problems disappear, but together we can create magic by building trust and working towards positive change.
I enjoy working with adolescents (12-18 years old) and adults. I see clients as individuals, as well as couples and family dynamics. I take special interest in men's studies, ethical non-monogamy, as well as anxiety from equine-related hobbies and/or accidents.
Every therapist is not for every client, and vice versa. I encourage any potential clients to reach out via email or phone and I am happy to have a conversation of your needs and wants for therapy to see if we are potentially a good fit.
