**Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom**~Aristotle~ If you're seeking self-understanding, your life's meaning and purpose--and how to make sense out of painful or unfulfilling patterns in relationships, I'm a psychodynamic therapist here to help. We'll explore patterns in your emotions, thoughts, and beliefs in relation to past experiences to gain insight. Insight plus action creates change. You aren't responsible for your early life emotional wounds, but you are responsible for your healing. I hope you'll reach out to begin the process.

It is a combination of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy.
Life is a journey, and in seeking therapy you are taking a step to shape that journey. Choosing a therapist can be difficult, complicated by therapy jargon. To put it simply, we will examine your past, evaluate your present and collaborate on your future. Therapy is not without risk. However, I will provide a safe environment and a non-judgemental ear for you to explore your life and its infinite possibilities. You will determine where you want to go and I will work with you to help you get there. I look forward to hearing from you.

Psychodynamic Therapists
Psychodynamic therapy, also known as insight-oriented therapy, evolved from Freudian psychoanalysis. Like adherents of psychoanalysis, psychodynamic therapists believe that bringing the unconscious into conscious awareness promotes insight and resolves conflict. But psychodynamic therapy is briefer and less intensive than psychoanalysis and also focuses on the relationship between the therapist and the client, as a way to learn about how the client relates to everyone in their life.
