Life can be very demanding and leave us feeling overwhelmed. Finding the right therapist can return you to balance as you sort through what is troubling you and learn to manage difficult feelings. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment, where you are free to speak openly and honestly. I have a genuine concern for the well being of all my clients and respect the needs of each individual while we explore issues and work together to gain greater clarity and resolve areas of conflict.
The issues I most often work with are Life Transitions, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Loss, Self-Esteem and Trauma Relief. For over 8 years I worked with hospice in grief support where I helped people process their unresolved grief, while teaching skills to cope with the anxiety which may accompany it.
Being relieved of suffering is not enough, you want to feel whole, complete and able to live a good life. It is the goal in my work to remove barriers and heal old wounds so you can rebuild feelings of self worth and competency opening the door to greater feelings of joy and personal efficacy.

Women's Therapy/Support Group
This is an on-going group in a safe and supportive environment, where women encourage each other to create new connections while exploring women's issues. Common topics are: Relationships with family, friends and co-workers, parenting and being parented, adjusting to transitions, coping with loss, healing from early wounding and learning to trust ourselves and others. This group meets bi-monthly on Thursday afternoon.
