Many of the adults I work with come to therapy because they're feeling worried, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or relationship challenges, but they can't always pinpoint why they feel the way they do.
As we work together, we begin to uncover the patterns that may be contributing to these struggles. Understanding these patterns isn't about dwelling on the past, it's about making sense of the present so you can respond differently moving forward.

Few of us grew up in ideal families or learning all we need to know about managing conflict and expressing our needs and emotions effectively.
Using an experiential, present oriented style, I will help you understand your unique "dance" of connection with loved ones and how to be your best self. You will learn to listen more effectively, set clear boundaries, say what you want and need with confidence, and express anger in productive ways.

Life can be difficult! Whether you’re navigating a stressful life situation, coping with relationship challenges, or struggling to understand your own emotions, it can make a world of difference to have someone truly supporting you along the way. Beginning therapy—or switching therapists—can feel intimidating, but you deserve care that fits your goals and your life. In our work together, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we explore what’s going on for you, clarify what you want to change, and choose an approach that best matches your needs.

Though I enjoy working with a variety of clients and issues, my special interest is working with families and their children/adolescents on the many issues families face today.
Are you wanting to feel differently or have something change in your life but dont know how to get there? Sometimes we just need help generating the internal and external life we crave. I believe that early relationships in our life affect the way we think, feel, and behave towards the people we care about. It even changes the way our brains develop and personalities express themselves! I use a variety of interventions to support you in uncovering patterns that are causing problems, heal, and learn new ways of being. You have many strengths just waiting to be used. It would be an honor to walk alongside you.

I offer over 30 years of experience as a therapist serving families, couples and individuals.
As an "elder", I know of the vulnerabilities and anxieties that can arise due to the aging process. Elders often have to deal with change, loss and grief more frequently than one does in earlier stages of our lives. We are touched by them, directly or indirectly. Learning to more gracefully move through these transitions is an opportunity for deeper emotional, psychological and spiritual growth. These challenges can become the medicine for your spirit and soul.

Does it look like you have it all together on the outside, but deep down you feel anxious, exhausted, or empty? It seems like happiness is something "out there" or baked into your next achievement, but when you actually get what you're striving for, the emptiness quickly returns? Or maybe you feel like something is "off" in your life, but you can't pinpoint exactly what it is? As a (recovering) perfectionist myself, I've been there & I get it. I have a passion for helping adults and adolescents deepen their connection to themselves to get to the root of symptoms such as chronic anxiety, perfectionism, & relational instability.
