I DO offer both in-person AND zoom!
Addiction is a confusing, overwhelming, & powerful force. It is all- encompassing, taking over slowly or quickly in every area of one's life. Before long you don't know which way is up and are just struggling to get through the day...or hour. Together we uncover patterns of behavior that no longer serve you, understand why you developed these patterns, and discover new ways of living. I support individuals in rediscovering who they are and what they are passionate about.

I’m currently accepting new clients. Over the past 10 years, social equality has been the focus of my career. I have a passion for family systems and understanding the role each individual has. Together we’ll explore what life has asked you to bear with child trauma, addiction and domestic abuse. We'll begin building a new chapter rooted in your strength and authenticity. My style is warm yet practical, rooted in the belief that you already have tools inside you- sometimes just needing support to uncover and apply them to real-life change.

I help individuals with ADHD and executive functioning challenges using ACT, Narrative, and Feminist therapy to build self-understanding, flexibility, and confidence.
I help neurodivergent adults and mixed-neurotype couples build stronger, more connected relationships. When ADHD, autism, AuDHD, or other neurodivergent traits are misunderstood, partners often mistake neurological differences for lack of effort, caring, or compatibility. I help couples replace frustration and conflict with deeper understanding, effective communication, emotional connection, and practical strategies that work for both partners. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that different brains bring different strengths—not deficits.

I work with children, teens, young adults, and parents, drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to support each client’s unique path.
Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by big emotions, stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, or unsure how to support your child through something hard. Whether you’re a young adult navigating growing pressures, a teen trying to make sense of your world, or a parent holding more than your share, it can feel like no one really gets it. I’ve been there too—in the messy, complicated parts of life where just having someone truly listen can make all the difference.

My ideal clients are strong, capable people who feel weighed down by trauma, stress, or sudden life changes. They often appear high-functioning but inside feel anxious, disconnected, or burned out. What they need most is a safe, judgment-free space with someone who understands their struggles. Their goals are to regain control, ease symptoms, reconnect with loved ones, and rediscover who they are beyond the pain. Above all, they want real relief, hope, and a path forward they can trust.

You love your children deeply, and motherhood feels much harder than you expected. You may cry without knowing why, feel constantly on edge, or become angry over things that never bothered you before. You feel alone beside a partner who does not understand what you are going through, and resentment is building between you. Perhaps you miss who you were before motherhood and feel guilty admitting it. You are exhausted from carrying everyone’s needs, second-guessing yourself, and trying to hold everything together.

You still love each other, but somewhere along the way, conversations turned into arguments, or into silence. You miss feeling close. Maybe you keep having the same fight. Maybe you're more like roommates than partners, or touch and intimacy have faded and neither of you knows how to bring it up. Underneath it all, you might be wondering, Are we the problem? Is this just how it is now? It isn't. Couples don't drift apart because they don't care. They drift because no one ever taught them how to talk about what matters, ask for what they need, or repair after a hurt. Every relationship deserves to feel safe, connected, and alive.

One thing I know for sure: when you live long enough, life will bring obstacles—grief, loss, transitions, and challenges—that can get in the way of your best and truest self. Therapy offers a safe, personal space to slow down, reflect, and work through those moments so you don’t have to carry them alone.
Here’s a little secret (that’s not really a secret): people go to therapy to work through life. I specialize in grief counseling and loss support—whether that’s the passing of a loved one, the loss of a pet, or the many “living losses”that come with illness, infertility, or relationship changes.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.
What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.
Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.
How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
