I can best help couples who want to create a strong relationship foundation, bridge differing desires, revitalize sexless (or low-sex) marriages or relationships, recover from an affair, or explore alternative relationships, such as poly or open relationships. I also help men who want to better understand themselves and their partners, be amazing lovers, or deal with erectile dysfunction. I have a strong expertise in working with women who struggle with low libido, or have issues with orgasms or sexual satisfaction.

I use an integrative approach and am particularly oriented to psychodynamic/analytic theories, relational theory, existential theory, mindfulness-based therapy, somatic therapy, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, and acceptance commitment therapy.
You may notice yourself struggling with anxiety, loneliness and isolation or relationship difficulties. Many begin therapy when faced with crisis. Therapy is a commitment to the positive transformation and evolution of the self. It can be an incredibly powerful tool to promote understanding and insight in order to make choices that create meaningful change.
My approach is collaborative, warm, engaged, and reflective, while also challenging patterns that may no longer serve you. I offer a compassionate space to support you in developing a deep self connection where you can uncover wounds and defenses that limit you.

These are object relations, attachment-based and psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic, mindfulness and psychoanalysis work.
I'm here with you. Few things are more painful than feeling disconnected from yourself or the person you love. If you've tried everything to reconnect with yourself and others, only to end up stuck in the same old patterns, you're far from alone ... and help is available! When stress and anxiety leave you short of breath and constantly bracing for the worst, or old wounds from loss or trauma linger and make it difficult to feel safe or believe there's a light at the end of the tunnel, you can end up feeling heartbroken, hopeless, and exhausted. But the fact that you are reading this now means there is hope. I'm here to help.

You may feel anxious, stuck in painful patterns, or disconnected from yourself or others. You might be carrying trauma, grief, or burnout, or navigating relationship stress, identity questions, or the weight of systemic oppression. My clients often long for more clarity, emotional safety, and self-trust. They want to heal from past wounds, improve communication, and move through the world with greater freedom, resilience, and connection—both within and in their relationships.

I draw upon trauma-informed, psychodynamic, existential, attachment-based, somatic, and creative modalities.
I know how hard it can be. Stress and anxiety may take over, leaving little room for peace or joy in daily life. Or maybe past trauma and loss still feel present, keeping you stuck and making it hard to move forward. You might feel distance in your relationship, unsure how to bridge the gap. Even when you try, the same issues keep showing up. Cultural, racial, or other differences can add an extra layer of tension. Parenting, too, can feel exhausting, especially when intergenerational patterns or cultural expectations collide with your own values or your child's needs. But you don't have to keep struggling, and you're not alone.

I offer somatic, mindfulness‑based therapy with parts / states work (Hakomi and ISITTA certified).
Overwhelmed, stuck, or in pain? Maybe it’s anxiety, low mood, burnout, grief that won’t lift, panic, or sleep that won’t cooperate. Thoughts race or go blank. You feel lonely around people, or crowded by them. Old trauma resurfaces; you react faster than you want; boundaries blur. Work and relationships start to suffer. If you want relief that lasts - steadier emotions, fewer spirals, clearer communication, better sleep and energy, or clearer path through major life changes - let’s talk. A brief introductory call can map a simple starting plan and see if we’re a fit so new patterns can take hold. Individuals, couples, and families.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
