“The will to be oneself is heroism.” Ortega y Gasset. Coping with depression, anxiety, habits and addictions that undermine your life, relationships that cause more pain than joy--these are the challenges that I have helped people overcome for over 40 years. Sometimes these problems are rooted in the ways you adapted to a difficult childhood. Sometimes their solutions depend on skills that you have not yet acquired. In either case, you long to have a place where you feel safe and accepted for who you are, a place where you can freely discuss personal, even shameful issues without recrimination.

I help individuals and couples with an array of sex and relationship issues including: lack of passion in long term relationship, arousal and desire concerns, better communication skills and repair, dating and seduction skills, building confidence, late in life virginity, healing from trauma, sexuality during life transitions and divorce, navigating open relationships, ED and PE. My clients are usually seeking experiential coaching as an alternative to talk therapy. We practice a wide array of relational and communication tools that build more connection, erotic embodiment and deeper intimacy.

I believe that we all have the ability to thrive when we're connected to our most authentic and embodied self. As a therapist, I love helping my clients heal and supporting them on their journey toward this best self! I've been a practicing therapist for about 10 years and I've found I work best with adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, life stress, or just want to know themselves better. By providing a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space, I'll help you explore thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you and work toward healing any past emotional wounds that keep you feeling stuck.

You are interested in EMDR because you need help with addiction and trauma. You are open to trying reprocessing, mindfulness, exercise or whatever it takes to heal. It's ok with you if therapy includes a little tough love because you don't need someone to cosign your BS. And... you also want someone who can offer compassion to help you heal from a traumatic past. You are my ideal client. You know what you want and you aren't afraid to do the work!

Hello, my name is Roslynn Noble. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 89024). This means I am trained as a therapist and as a social worker. I have worked as a clinical social worker for the last 10 years. Most recently my area of focus has been brief therapy, which focuses on stabilizing a single issue in 5-12 sessions. Therapy can be overwhelming, and the first few sessions are sometimes spent identifying and prioritizing what to stabilize.

I remember Aunt Rose always saying “Aging isn't for sissies”. Now that I’ve reached “old age”, I’m very aware of how right she was. Our bodies stop cooperating. Our appearance changes. And grief and loss hover dangerously near us . Old age is an opportunity – and maybe our last opportunity - to find contentment, peace and ease, in spite of intense emotional and physical states that old age brings. It’s a chance to really get to know ourselves more intimately and to accept what is. I work with older adults who are interested in exploring the complexities of aging while making meaning out of life and practicing acceptance.

Caring for a dependent person with whom you have a previous history is uniquely challenging. Family histories and dynamics do not go away when someone gets sick. In addition to juggling the tasks of helping a dependent family member get through the day, caregivers are balancing obligations such as work, parenting and other responsibilities. One's own health and wellbeing, finances, and other roles and relationships can all be affected by the demands of caregiving. Finding balance and coping with ambiguity can be challenging, especially in the presence of emotional undercurrents such as grief, loss, resentment, guilt and overwhelm.

Therapy is a deeply personal experience. As we go through life, there are many points of transition, uncertainty and challenges. During these times it is common to feel, anxious, lonely, overwhelmed and unsure. Allowing yourself to reach out for support can be the first step in finding relief. I would be honored to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to work through the therapeutic process. Asking for help can often be the best step to take in working through many issues that we are confronted with.

Maybe you're feeling stuck in life, or maybe you've just had significant loss. Or, maybe you've been dealing with loss for some time - whether it be bereavement, loss of relationship or family support, or loss of parts of yourself. Perhaps you have experienced (and/or inflicted) trauma, and find yourself dragging the weight of those chains, even after much time has passed. Maybe you want to be heard or witnessed, maybe you want to problem solve or get to know yourself better, or do a combination of all three. Maybe you want to integrate facets of your being, or at least help those parts cross-communicate and work together better.
