I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and

with a diverse background working with children, teens and adults.
The world is a wild and wondrous place to exist. There is so much to be curious about as we follow our respective paths. However, sometimes the path can become obscured causing us to feel lost, confused, even scared or defeated. Amidst the constant buzz of living, we need a place of stillness, of safety, to see ourselves clearly again. I am here to provide you a safe, judgement-free holding space to explore your own path and rediscover yourself in it. In our work together, we will focus on using the strength of human connection as a bridge to our own healing.

Even the children of dedicated, responsible parents can develop behavioral or emotional problems as they move through childhood and adolescence. Sometimes the acting out or other worrisome behaviors occur only at home. Other times, the difficulties erupt at school. Or both. Perhaps what you or the school has tried isn't working. You may be blaming yourself even though it is not your fault. At these times, an experienced child therapist can help you and your
family
get back on track.

Navigating life is often challenging for teens & young adults. It is easy to feel lost and overwhelmed by the demands and expectations that are placed on them. However, with the right support this can be an incredibly interesting and exciting time in their lives! I have helped many youth and families find their way and even thrive during this period. Many teens struggle with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger-management,
family
conflict, and traumatic experiences. I focus on improving emotional well-being, enhancing communication with peers and
family
, and making good decisions regarding relationships and personal safety.

The first and most difficult stage of change is asking for help. Contemplating change is often harder than taking the actual steps in that direction. Most people are pleasantly surprised with the relief and energy that comes from beginning! I will walk you through your beginning and answer any questions you may have about the process of counseling and psychotherapy. I am licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Feel free to call or email with any questions you may have. I look forward to talking to you.

Divorce is one of the most stressful events a person or
family
will experience in their lifetime, and reaching out for support is a brave step! Visit my website or schedule an intake call and I'd love to learn how I can support your and your

.
I help kids, teens, and families experiencing divorce create a fulfilling “new normal” by moving from stuck and overwhelmed to thriving and free. I know that you are more than a person going through a divorce. It is overwhelming to ensure your kids are supported, especially while you are learning what it means to be a single parent, navigating the impossible waters of being a healthy co-parent, adjusting to the new financial realities, and not to mention dealing with your own heartbreak.

Your growth should not mean additional stress, overworking, or sacrificing your health, time with
family
, or other life priorities.
Are you and your co-founder and business partner on the verge of a transition or expansion? You’ve put in tremendous effort to build your business, overcoming countless obstacles. While you’re proud of your achievements, the long hours and dedication have taken a toll on you both. You want your business to have a greater impact, but you're also fearful of losing the original spirit and dream as the expansion gains momentum. Before moving forward, address the cracks in the foundations of your business and partnership, and further grow your capacities. Misalignments make transitions and expansions even more difficult and complicated.

My areas of speciality include addiction recovery, spiritual exploration, trauma, parenting, couples therapy and
family
sessions.
I know this feels like one of the lowest moments in your life. Maybe alcohol feels like your closest ally and no one understands. Perhaps the trauma of the past keeps haunting you or the communication between you and your loved ones is not working. You are doing the right thing by reaching out and the fact that you arrived here shows that there is hope ahead. We will find you comfort without the consequences of addiction. Your loved ones will hear you and understand you. A full nights sleep without nightmares is possible. You deserve to exhale and feel peace and security. You are not alone and I would be honored to guide you.

Family Therapy
What do family therapists do?
A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.
How long does therapy for families take to work?
Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.
How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?
You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.
Is therapy for families effective?
Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
