We're artists, leaning into the world & willing our lives. And rapture, an essential feeling, leads us outward to be more truly ‘there’. Heidegger thus interprets Nietzsche’s “will to power:” A strong, full-bodied interest & movement towards the world, before us as a possibility but not always chosen. Poignantly, Heidegger (1961) names a “fallen” state: “Of someone who is intoxicated...he [sic] 'has' something like rapture. But his is not enraptured. The rapture of intoxication [does not raise one] beyond himself. What we are here calling rapture is merely...being 'soused,' something depriv[ing] us of every possible state of being."

Do you feel weary of the constant parade of "failed" relationships that show up in your life? Would you like to discover the secret to attracting and keeping a healthy committed relationship? If you answered "yes" to these questions, you have come to the right place. I have 25 years of experience in helping people just like you to understand how the patterns of unhealthy relationships are laid down very early in life. Relationships are like a "dance" in which each partner performs their "steps". Becoming aware of your "steps" means you can change them, and reap amazing rewards.

While we yearn for self love and deep connection, isolation, community degradation, and cut off from the body and the natural world can leave us unsupported and under-resourced. In my work I seek to help people regulate their nervous systems, overcome the shame of having been harmed, and re/connect with a broader network of support. I'm passionate about accompanying people through their journey of identity development, whether that be gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, or whatever identity is emerging. I hope to help you step into your authentic self and find a sense of belonging in the broader world.

I work mostly with queer, trans, and non-binary clients, children of immigrants, or folks with some kind of neurodivergence like ADHD or autism. I've found that folks with gender expansive identities often have overlapping experiences with autism, depression, anxiety or PTSD, and so our work addresses all of these things. I also treat therapists, doctors, and first responders.

Many people find themselves repeating familiar patterns in relationships without fully understanding why — or why they’re so hard to change. Relationships can be meaningful and sustaining, but also confusing, painful, or exhausting, especially when old ways of relating keep resurfacing despite sincere effort.

Sometimes there’s a moment when you realize something needs to change—even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move toward a more authentic life. For over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals (adults and teens), couples, and families navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions, including sudden loss, ambiguous grief, and developmental trauma that shapes how you relate to yourself and others.

I work with:
• Silicon Valley professionals facing burnout, pressure, and decision fatigue.
• Couples and families struggling with stress, communication breakdowns, or emotional distance.
• Men navigating identity, relationships, expectations, fatherhood, or isolation.
• Young adults with chronic mental illness, and the families who care for and support them.
I help you untangle what feels overwhelming—work stress, relationship pain, self-doubt, or exhaustion—and make room for calm, clarity, and change. I get the impact of profit demands, politics, caregiving, and emotional overload. You deserve space to process, heal, and reset.

I'm a decolonial trauma therapist primarily serving BIPOC and immigrant communities, including poly, kink, and queer populations with lifelong challenges like cPTSD and inter/transgenerational trauma. As a 2nd-gen South Asian American clinician, I understand that pain and suffering often stem from systemic factors, including wealth disparities, immigration enforcement, toxic work culture, gender dysphoria, anti-blackness, misogyny, structural violence, and cis-heteronormativity. I also have over seven years of experience working in crisis intervention, supporting those struggling with self-harming behaviors and suicidality.

Your relationship is stressed or you're looking for one, you're restless in your career or you're searching for meaning. Your self-care has taken backseat to busyness and life has become about being mother, wife, or caretaker. You're feeling stagnant, uninspired, and worried the world is passing you by. Waking up in the morning and looking forward to your day seems like a distant reality. You want to change but feel paralyzed by uncertainty. It feels too hard on your own to get clear with what's missing in your relationship, your career, and your life or where to begin to make lasting, meaningful change that feels worth the effort.

I support highly sensitive people and LGBTQIA+ folks with childhood trauma who feel chronically numb, anxious, or “too much”- often appearing high-functioning while feeling like they’re drowning inside. You might be struggling with hypervigilance, people pleasing, attachment insecurity or numbness.
My somatic approach moves you beyond understanding into embodied change, helping you regulate your nervous system, shift old patterns, and create more ease, connection, freedom and authenticity in your life. I believe true change comes from the body, as how safe your nervous system feels shapes your thoughts, emotions, and patterns.

How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.
How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.
Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilize the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.
What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
