Is anxiety, depression, or trauma holding you back from being your true self? Do you feel stuck in managing difficult life transitions? Now, every little thing becomes super overwhelming. Those negative experiences reopen old wounds and cause new ones. You tried burying your pain hoping it would go away. You feel lonely and tormented. You feel exhausted, stressed, and angry all the time. You wonder how much more you can take. You are unsure of who or where to turn for help. In the midst of this painful journey, you do not have to go through it alone.

Having a good relationship with oneself is a process and a practice, and can be cultivated through the therapeutic process. Every relationship is dependent on how we talk to ourselves, and this inner conversation is what therapy can shift. If you have the willingness, huge transformation is possible. I am in this field to help people sort out a way through and beyond unnecessary suffering, and towards deep peace with themselves and others. I have successfully treated high-functioning CEOs as well as people traumatized, addicted, and broke. Being human is challenging, and with the right support, beautiful. Call. I can help!

As a creative, sensitive person, you measure success through a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Though you're doing well by many metrics, you want to feel more connected to what you're really doing with your life. Whether it's in your relationships, your creative life, or your own inner world, you're looking for something deeper to show you that you're walking down a life path you can feel great about.

With somatic strategies I help you navigate your sensitive nervous system & feel those big feelings in real time.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, have been told you’re “sensitive," or “too much” or if you feel like you’re simply "too broken" to heal—you belong here. At TLC I specialize in supporting those who have felt unseen or misunderstood. I know that healing isn't linear or tidy; it’s often messy and uncertain. My mission is to provide a warm, human space where you can stop performing and start rediscovering your fundamental worth. Being a human is hard, finding a place where you can feel safe to unpack it all shouldn’t also be hard. I don’t aim to "fix" you—instead, I want to help you rediscover the wisdom you already carry

Therapy is an amazing placebo. You do not NEED a therapist to learn, transform, and grow your awareness of yourself. I firmly believe whatever it is you are seeking to learn, change, or make peace with, you can do it. The benefit of working with a trained therapist who sees you, gives your sense of agency and innate wisdom the respect it deserves, and offers an outside perspective on your experience informed by evidenced-based theory and practice, is that the pace of growth is greatly accelerated.

I’m a psychotherapist who works best helping goal-oriented, high-functioning clients get results through deep, exploratory work while providing tools and techniques that help bring about change. I pay close attention to how past experiences, family dynamics, cultural context, and unconscious patterns influence your present life. My work is influenced by Jungian psychology. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and take a mind-body approach. I invite clients to not only explore their inner world but to embody that awareness in their daily lives, moving toward a more authentic, integrated, and meaningful way of being.

My work is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from relational, somatic, and insight-oriented approaches.
My ideal clients are thoughtful, high-functioning adults who appear capable on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. Many are navigating parenthood, caregiving, identity shifts, or the long-term effects of trauma and cultural or generational patterns. They want relief that feels meaningful, not superficial, and are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves so they can feel more grounded, connected, and at ease in their lives.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
