You work hard to hold it all together but inside, you’re overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe it’s anxiety, past trauma, addiction, or relationship struggles wearing you down. You want to feel more present, more connected, and more like yourself again. You’re not looking for quick fixes—you want real change, and you’re ready to understand what’s beneath the surface. Therapy can be the space where that shift begins.

Childhood trauma can cripple us, it creates overpowering ‘intense’ emotions such as anxiety, depression, and anger when left unattended which begins to create physical symptoms to defend our bodies from the internal wounds. Has there ever been a time in your life where you have experienced this reaction? Are you experiencing these feelings based on current or past trauma from childhood, early teens, adolescence, adulthood, or as a senior? I aim to utilize a variety of actionable techniques to help reduce trauma related symptoms and make lasting changes in life.

You may be carrying too much and don’t know how to set it down. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed by grief, or just unsure how to move forward. You might be a parent trying to hold everything together, a partner wanting more connection, or someone facing big career changes. My clients often seek therapy when emotions become too much to manage on their own. Whether it's chronic or fluctuating depression, illness, PTSD, or trauma, it's important to start the journey of healing somewhere.

Sometimes having compassion for ourselves is much harder than extending compassion to others. It’s difficult when we are dealing with thoughts that convince us we are broken or stuck, or when we are facing issues that seem larger than us, issues that appear beyond what our personal power can handle. Along with these thoughts of uncertainty come feelings such as anxiety, sadness, shame, and grief, all of which we struggle to avoid which can make living a valued existence appear difficult or impossible. Yet it is. You don’t need to go it alone. I can see that power within you, even if you are unable to see this in yourself.

Hey! I’m a systems-based therapist who believes therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or serious all the time. I love using humor, curiosity, and a dash of improv to help you explore life’s messiness. Whether we’re diving into trauma, untangling family dynamics, or making sense of relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you—with compassion, real talk, and maybe the occasional awkward metaphor (they’re kind of my thing). Let’s figure it out together.
