Clients in my practice want something to change, even if they don't know what. Some wish to unlearn unhelpful habits, to navigate emotions better. Others struggle in relationships or with general unhappiness. They feel lonely, unsatisfied, irritable, lost, stuck, overwhelmed, unmotivated, isolated, and hopeless. They may use terms such as trauma, depressed, abandoned, stressed, anxious, numb, grieving, and anxious/avoidant. They seek to feel like a whole person and in charge of life. They wish to grow and nurture their relationships with others and themselves. They desire to feel more at peace and at home in themselves.

My specialties include complex trauma, childhood abuse/neglect, healing from narcissistic/abusive relationships, codependency/relationship issues, substance use disorders, masculinity and men's issues, grief and loss, spirituality, mindfulness, and cultural minority issues such as family conflict, intergenerational trauma, cultural identity & racism.
I specialize in complex trauma, especially intergenerational trauma. As a child of refugees myself, I understand the impact of having parents who, due to their own traumas, were emotionally/physically unavailable, abusive, or neglectful. Many learn to cope with that trauma by people pleasing, rejecting intimacy, using substances to numb themselves, or distracting themselves with work. Having done trauma work for nearly a decade, I've found that one size doesn't fit all, so I tailor my approach to the individual and make sure we're both clear on what we're doing and why, with an emphasis on openness, collaboration, and compassion.

Looking for support can feel overwhelming, especially when life is already heavy. Whether you're dealing with stress, relationship issues, past trauma, or just feeling lost, you're not alone. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you figure things out at your own pace. I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens, helping them move through tough experiences and into more clarity, confidence, and connection. I believe that growth happens when we feel safe enough to be honest with ourselves and with others.

Therapy is an amazing placebo. You do not NEED a therapist to learn, transform, and grow your awareness of yourself. I firmly believe whatever it is you are seeking to learn, change, or make peace with, you can do it. The benefit of working with a trained therapist who sees you, gives your sense of agency and innate wisdom the respect it deserves, and offers an outside perspective on your experience informed by evidenced-based theory and practice, is that the pace of growth is greatly accelerated.

Sometimes having compassion for ourselves is much harder than extending compassion to others. It’s difficult when we are dealing with thoughts that convince us we are broken or stuck, or when we are facing issues that seem larger than us, issues that appear beyond what our personal power can handle. Along with these thoughts of uncertainty come feelings such as anxiety, sadness, shame, and grief, all of which we struggle to avoid which can make living a valued existence appear difficult or impossible. Yet it is. You don’t need to go it alone. I can see that power within you, even if you are unable to see this in yourself.

Hi there, I’m Dom. I approach therapy with a holistic, trauma-informed lens—honoring each client as inherently worthy and capable of growth, clarity, and meaningful change. I view mental health symptoms as survival responses shaped by life experiences, relationships, and stress on the nervous system. I support clients in building awareness of their patterns and stress responses so they can move forward with greater clarity, autonomy, and self-trust.

I help people recover from recent traumas, work stress, health anxiety, panic attacks, driving anxiety, phobias, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, social anxiety, and OCD. I'm an EMDR Specialist. Although I love EMDR, not everyone needs it. I also offer regular talk therapy. I am practical and outcome oriented. I support short term therapy and often suggest committing to 4-6 months of therapy for targeted goals such as processing specific traumas or decreasing certain anxiety triggers. Some clients do several episodes of short term therapy with me. I respect the need for efficiency due to the expense and time commitment of therapy.

Are you navigating life between two worlds, balancing family and cultural expectations with your own sense of self? Perhaps you're a child of immigrants, a first-generation professional, or someone far from home asking deeper questions about who you are and where you belong. I'm a bilingual (English/Tagalog) psychotherapist specializing in depth-oriented, Jungian therapy. I work with Filipino Americans, Asian Americans, immigrants, and first-generation individuals doing the meaningful, sometimes difficult work of building an authentic identity, one that honors where they come from while making room for who they are becoming.

Childhood trauma can cripple us, it creates overpowering ‘intense’ emotions such as anxiety, depression, and anger when left unattended which begins to create physical symptoms to defend our bodies from the internal wounds. Has there ever been a time in your life where you have experienced this reaction? Are you experiencing these feelings based on current or past trauma from childhood, early teens, adolescence, adulthood, or as a senior? I aim to utilize a variety of actionable techniques to help reduce trauma related symptoms and make lasting changes in life.

I provide individual therapy to treat sexual and pornography addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and other symptoms. Struggling with sex or porn addiction can feel isolating, overwhelming, and be filled with shame. But you don’t have to face it alone. I help individuals who feel stuck in compulsive sexual behaviors build clarity, accountability, and real, lasting change. Together, we look beyond the behavior to understand what’s driving it; stress, trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, or loneliness, and then develop practical tools to manage urges and rebuild integrity. My approach is structured, direct, and compassionate.

We all feel lost from time to time, but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve been through my own therapy as a young adult when I was stuck in a bout of anxiety and panic attacks due to childhood trauma. Throughout my years of working with traumatized individuals, I learned first-hand about how childhood trauma can have a strong impact on adulthood. I can help you address unresolved trauma, in order for you to find passion, connection, and purpose in your life.
