I work with teens and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, and life transitions.
My approach to care is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each patient’s unique needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—therapy should reflect your goals, values, and lived experiences.

Yet underneath, anxiety lingers, and familiar patterns keep repeating.
My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). We explore attachment patterns and protective strategies that once made sense but now feel limiting. As compassion grows, change feels less forced and more natural. Over time, clients experience greater emotional steadiness, clearer boundaries, and deeper connections.

Life can present moments that leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Relationships—whether with family, friends, colleagues, or partners—along with life transitions and past experiences, can shape us in ways we may not fully realize. Therapy can be both challenging and deeply rewarding. Reaching out for support—whether you’re working through difficult experiences, personal growth, or specific goals—takes courage. If you’re looking for support in understanding these patterns or navigating current challenges, I’m here to help.

Does it feel like you’re your own worst critic? Maybe you second-guess your words and actions, replaying conversations in your head and agonizing over how others see you. You might struggle to speak up for what you need, then end up feeling resentful or taken advantage of in relationships. Or you hold back at work—hesitating to go after the raise, promotion, or opportunity you deserve—because self-doubt creeps in. Even though you show up with compassion and understanding for others, it feels nearly impossible to extend the same grace to yourself.

In choosing me as your care provider, I bring to the table experience in working with those who are experiencing PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Crisis, substance use, and many other concerns.
Within this framework, my approach is the same: meeting the person where they are at and helping to make an uncomfortable situation understandable. In using empathy and active listening I provide a safe space for those needing someone to listen to them and provide tools and support to hopefully bring change to those needing care.

When should I seek treatment for anxiety?
Everyone feels anxious at times, but when anxiety causes disruption to your daily life, it may be time to seek help. Such disruption can be mental, physical, or both: having fear dominate your thoughts, avoiding situations or objects that bring on feelings of anxiety, or experiencing shortness of breath, sweating, dizziness, or panic attacks. When these symptoms are recurrent and distressing, it may be time to talk to someone.

What are the most common types of treatment for anxiety?
Talk therapy, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, is the most common treatment for anxiety. Studies have shown it is equally effective as medication. Other popular forms of therapy are popular, depending on a patient’s experience. Exposure therapy, for instance, can be useful for people dealing with fears and phobias, or who have experienced traumatic events. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy may be useful for patients who need help with emotion regulation. Anxiolytic medications, like benzodiazepines, can also help with calming a person enough to focus on the skills they’ve learned, and physical exercise has been shown to help symptoms of anxiety across the board.

How long does therapy for anxiety take to work?
The amount of time needed to alleviate symptoms depends on the severity of a person’s condition. Some therapies may take 5-20 weekly sessions to show results. Anti-depressant medications typically take two to four weeks before a benefit is felt. Anti-anxiety medications are felt typically within 20-30 minutes. Medications are best used to offer a patient a better headspace in which to work on techniques learned in therapy. Exercise, improved sleep habits, and meditation are effective, but takes weeks or months to show results.

How effective is treatment for anxiety?
Treatment for anxiety has been shown to be moderately to highly effective, according to a large body of psychology studies and analyses. For some people, treatment using CBT or exposure therapy alone is effective. Others respond best to a combination of medication and therapy.
