My testing services include evaluations related to: adult and child ADHD, adult and child autism, IQ/ cognitive testing, pre-ordination, adoption, and young child development.
My practice provides neurodiversity-affirmative and collaborative psychological testing services for individuals of all ages. I believe that individuals deserve the opportunity to feel heard, respected, and safe. I provide individual therapy for children, teens, and young adults - at this time I'm unavailable for therapy and will be resuming therapy services in August 2023. I'm currently available for testing. Common reasons people come to me are for clarity about autism, anxiety, depression, or ADHD. An evaluation helps folks to understand themselves better. I primarily use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Process Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Gottman Methods.
Are you feeling stuck? Does your life feel overwhelming? Are you having a difficult time coping? I would like to support you in leading a fuller and more meaningful existence. As your therapist, I will help you cope more effectively with your problems by challenging your routine thought processes, identifying typical response patterns, and learning effective ways of behaving. You can expect to discover new insights about yourself and feel empowered to make changes that align with your values. The eventual goal is for you to translate what you learn in therapy into daily living, and find healing amidst adversity.

I use Cognitive Therapy techniques with demonstrated effectiveness to help people challenge patterns of thinking and behaving that are no longer functional.
I enjoy working with people who have addictions or anxiety or something else weighing them down, working with them for a relatively short period of time, and watching them become energized and passionate about their lives. I believe that my clients know themselves better than anyone else. I work to help my clients achieve their goals. I believe I can best serve people by using what research has shown to be effective. I do not believe therapy should take a long time; most of my clients graduate within 3-6 months. I work on an time-sensitive basis so some require more sessions.

I specialize in IFS, DBT, and CBT to help my clients to identify their internal parts and help these parts to discover healthier skills for coping.
Life can feel impossible to avoid struggling and we often don't feel we have the skills to cope successfully through. Unfortunately, sometimes we don't have all the resources we need for a given situation. Parts of us take on desperate roles trying to help us to survive. This might look like anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and relationship/family issues. I aim to help you process unresolved issues and feelings and find solutions.

I am trained in trauma-informed CBT , DBT, and solution-focused therapy to help clients develop a better understanding of any underlying issues and cope with overwhelming feelings.
When we are exposed to trauma at an early age, it can seriously impact how we feel about ourselves and our relationships with others. Trauma can also profoundly affect whether we feel this is a safe world and can contribute to depression, anxiety, and relational/familial issues. My practice is from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective with a non-judgmental framework. I aim to understand clients’ internal responses and to provide more options for emotional regulation and problem-solving.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) Therapists
Cognitive-behavioral therapy stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings. The therapist assists the client in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying his or her thinking. The therapist then helps the client modify those thoughts and the behaviors that flow from them. CBT is a structured collaboration between therapist and client and often calls for homework assignments.
