Alternatively, most intimacy coaches do not specialize in the psychodynamic underpinnings of human attachment and resulting relational dynamics. Talking about it, feeling bad about it, journaling, reading books, and other typical “therapy” approaches do not usually shift what is going on below the level of consciousness.
