Do you ever feel like life is one change after another and you can't seem to slow it all down? Have you recently made a big change - a new career, a marriage or divorce, a cross country move? Or maybe you're struggling with navigating the day to day of this ever-changing COVID world. I work with clients who are experiencing such life transitions - big or small. I can help you build skills to manage symptoms as well as help you explore and gain insight into what those transitions may bring up for you. I also work with adults with ADHD (newly or not so newly diagnosed), anxiety, and first-generation/immigrant trauma and challenges.

I have helped people struggling with depression, life-transitions, anxiety, childhood trauma, ADHD , self-esteem, and spiritual/existential concerns.
I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek out a therapist. As social beings, we all need support and at certain times we need it more than ever. Speaking to someone you can open up to and trust, knowing you will not be judged, can really make a difference in navigating emotional turmoil, relationships, stress, anxiety, processing trauma, and making our way through major life transitions. At times we may struggle with larger life questions such as, "Who am I?" and "What is my purpose in life?" I am here to help.

Some examples of learning differences are dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD , slow processing speed, and sensory processing disorders.
I provide psychoeducational assessments for students who are having difficulty in school. Currently I am only providing assessments through an online platform. Striving to help these students understand their strengths and weaknesses, as well as gaining skills to help school become easier is my number one goal. Often my clients have teachers or parents who believe that the student might have a psychological, attention, or learning difference, which is preventing them from learning to the best of their abilities.

I work with those with ADHD and anxiety, or anyone having trouble with self-regulation.
Does life feel way too hard right now? At times, our self-esteem can feel like it is in the trash. We can struggle to find meaning and a sense of direction in life. Our challenges can be pools of resources to learn and grow by. It's possible to cut out the unnecessary suffering and have more time and energy for what we want in life, by regulating our emotions and defining our values. Through art and talk therapy, you can learn to understand and appreciate yourself more, and adjust your attitudes and actions to be most useful for you.

Life can be difficult and chaotic. There is always something you feel like you should be doing, and no matter how much you make yourself do, you never feel like you’re enough. As you try to tackle everything around you, you end up losing yourself in the process. You think to yourself, “I just need to get through this week.” If every week is a tough week and you are always waiting for it to get better, then you’re not happy where you are. And you know you won’t find happiness if things continue as they are. By helping you feel seen and heard in all areas of your life, l can help you find a better path.

ADHD Therapists
Some children and adults with ADHD find it difficult to concentrate on tasks at school or work and may daydream frequently. Children with ADHD may become disruptive, defiant, or have trouble getting along with parents, peers, or teachers. Children who struggle with hyperactivity and impulsivity, in particular, often have behavioral challenges that can be difficult for adults to manage. Adults, on the other hand, may be more likely to report feeling restless or fidgety; if they struggle with impulsivity, they may make rash decisions that adversely affect their life. For both children and adults, executive functioning (planning, emotional regulation, and decision-making) is often affected as well. Many children and adults display either hyperactive or inattentive symptoms of ADHD, but it’s also possible for both sets of symptoms to exist together, in what is typically called combined type ADHD.
