I work with clients who are (highly) sensitive and/or gifted, who struggle with anxiety or complex trauma, and/or who are curious about their neurodivergence. I also work with therapists. Sensitive people have a finely attuned nervous system, they experience life deeply, yet don't always feel easily understood by others. Growing up, they may have experienced not fitting in, and have adapted to a largely non-sensitive world in myriad ways that didn't always serve their best interest. I support my clients on their path to finding their voice, experiencing genuine relationships, purposeful work, and reclaiming their space in the world.

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped adults navigate transitional life challenges—whether related to depression, anxiety, relationship stressors, or addictive behaviors. I'm solution‑focused, goal‑oriented, compassionate, and client‑centered. I work collaboratively to identify practical steps forward, so we don’t stay stuck in the problem itself. Together, we’ll clarify what’s getting in the way and build tools that help you feel more grounded, capable and aligned with your values. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, I will help you create meaningful, lasting change.

People often think that great sex comes naturally to all couples, but this is a myth. Relationships go through growth-spurts and it's hard to keep up, especially with life's curveballs. Perhaps, you and your partner are feeling disconnected or the type of sex you want now, is different than before. If you are having difficulty initiating sex-related conversations and are hoping to rekindle, couples therapy can provide you with curated tools. It'll also encourage you to feel more excited about intimacy, explore new ways of connecting emotionally and physically, and achieve your sex and relationship goals.

No matter what age or developmental phase of life we are in, it can be so easy to become trapped in ideas of who we should be or how we should be by looking to external comparisons. In therapy, I offer myself as an ally and guide to help you discover the version of yourself that brings you the most internal joy and satisfaction. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment in the therapy room that allows you to consider all facets of yourself and to truly examine what your needs are and how to meet them.

In our work together, my intention is to help you break away from the maladaptive thought patterns, emotions, actions, and external circumstances that keep you stuck in an unwanted experience. My goal is to help you create progress towards the life you do want for yourself. I’ll want to understand the changes you’d like to see in yourself. With this in mind, I’ll want to identify the behaviors you’d like to demonstrate, the lasting emotions you’d like to feel, and the outcomes you’d like to see present themselves in your life. With that information, we'll set the overall goals for therapy. Now providing Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are seeking to better understand themselves and their patterns, often in the aftermath of trauma or painful life experiences. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity questions, or persistent feelings of disconnection with themself and the world. It is natural to want to step back from these experiences that overwhelm us, though I have found that when we explore our symptoms—our survival strategies and adaptions—we are able to cultivate the self-empathy and curiosity needed to make changes in the present.

Rational Emotive Behavior (REBT) Therapists
What should I expect from rational emotive behavior therapy?
The therapist will work with the individual to recognize rigid thought patterns that sabotage goals and set them back. The objective is to identify, challenge and reframe negative thoughts and enable an individual to understand that they possess control over their emotions and their behavior. This therapy often emphasizes the use of reasoning and self-direction.

Is rational emotive behavior therapy effective?
Rational emotive behavior therapy is evidence-based and is highly effective. It helps a person reframe self-defeating or catastrophizing thoughts and gives them tools to approach a range of circumstances they may encounter post-therapy as well. REBT can bring a person lifelong change, with higher levels of satisfaction, less stress, as well as positive emotional and behavioral habits.

When do I know if I need treatment with rational emotive behavior therapy?
If an individual’s mind is filled with rigid, unreasonable thoughts that dwell in negativity, they may feel stuck. A rational emotive behavior therapist can help a person examine and change their thinking patterns as well as their behavior. This concise and concrete therapy can provide an individual with the coping skills needed for a healthier and more constructive life.

How long does rational emotive behavior therapy last?
REBT therapy treatment is short-term and focused in nature. It can last for a set number of sessions, ending within a few weeks or months. Like any type of therapy, however, sessions depend on the individual, as well as the severity of their condition or problem. The individual may wish to ask the therapist about typical progress and how long they expect treatment to take.
