Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades working at Canal Alliance in Marin supporting the immigrant community through education, technology, and economic development. That experience continues to shape how I approach therapy today. People’s struggles rarely exist in isolation from their life circumstances, relationships, and histories. In our work, we take time to understand those experiences and the emotional patterns they create. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship stress, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences that may still shape how they relate to themselves and others.

I've always believed that our sense of self is made up of stories- the ones we’re given, and the ones we tell ourselves. In my previous life as a film producer and studio executive, I spent years helping shape stories in film. Over time, I became fascinated by how that same process unfolds within each of us: how our stories - about self, others and the world- can lift us up, or hold us back. That curiosity led me to pursue a new path as a therapist so that I could help people reframe and reshape the stories that determine the quality of their lives.

I often work with couples considering divorce, or facing life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum, parenting stress, infidelity, illness, grief, communication, and bicultural relationships, navigating tensions between family expectations, cultural values, and personal needs.
Does it seem like you and your partner keep repeating the same conflicts? Are old resentments and misunderstandings creating distance and disconnection? In the safety of couples therapy, I help partners slow down repetitive cycles. We work to understand the patterns driving conflict and tension so that we can repair, heal and rebuild. My approach is warm and collaborative, while helping you tune in to your dynamics. Restoring communication, trust, intimacy, and connection are some of the common benefits of my work with couples. Most clients begin to feel some relief after the first session.

Marriage counseling after infidelity, for couples in after-discovery crisis—affair recovery, betrayal trauma therapy, and rebuilding trust after cheating.
This is a structured crisis-stabilization process. Early work can feel uneven or one-sided because we prioritize restoring truth and safety after a rupture. I actively guide the pace and set clear guardrails—boundaries, transparency, and communication rules—to prevent escalation, support accountability, and help you stay steady while life continues.

Hello! I work with individuals who wish to create lasting, positive changes in their lives and relationships. I offer safe, compassionate and supportive counseling in an atmosphere that deepens understanding, promotes healing, and releases potential. Unresolved emotional issues can stifle creativity, confidence, ambition, and our ability for good relationships. Trauma and loss can cause sadness, depression and pain that inhibit and block. My personal style is interactive, empathic, non-judgmental and respectful of individual values and choices.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
