I value circuitous paths in life and recognize that no one's journey is exactly the same as anyone else’s. I get it and provide a forum for you to embark on a journey; a journey in selfhood, dating and relating, fertility, education or in your career.  Working with me is a good match for you if you want a companion by your side – someone who will guide, encourage, challenge, support, and advocate for you while you journey.

Have you ever wondered why you keep returning to the same coping strategies even when they're hurting you? Maybe it’s been that way for a while. Maybe you want things to feel different, but you’re not sure where to start. I get it, you’re not alone and I’d love to help. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, real, and judgment-free. A place where you can show up exactly as you are and talk about what’s been weighing on you or holding you back from something. I’m not here to “fix” you. You’re the expert on your own life. I’m here to be alongside you as you make sense of things and find your way forward.

You thought becoming a parent would feel different than this. Maybe you're pregnant and anxious, convinced something will go wrong. Maybe you're postpartum and wondering why you don't feel the joy everyone promised. Maybe you've lost a pregnancy, a newborn, or the dream of the family you imagined, and grief has settled somewhere no one understands. You might be in the thick of IVF, birth trauma, or the disorienting world of the NICU. Wherever you are in your perinatal journey, you don't have to carry it alone. I offer specialized, trauma-focused therapy to help you heal and feel like yourself again.

I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and grow, and my role as a therapist is to help facilitate that process. It can be difficult to begin to open up and work on pain that has harmed us for so long. I am committed to helping you navigate through this and walk along side you during your time of need. I create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their innermost thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

The future is uncertain. Maybe you're excited about a possibility that is opening up or maybe you feel so stuck, confused, and overwhelmed you want to pull the covers over your head and secretly wish the world would go away. You want to do things differently but don't know HOW. Personal growth is cool but all the self-help books, online yoga workshops, and traditional talk therapy options are coming up short. Guess what? You've just struck gold. I'm here to offer you something different.

Self-doubt and the constant thought of “I’m not good enough” is a motto your brain creates. Worrying about how others see you, replaying past interactions thinking about what you may have done wrong, being conscious of how you should behave so you’re not a burden to others… You don’t want to be a people pleaser, but setting boundaries feels selfish. Or maybe it feels so uncomfortable to do so because you were never taught how. As an Asian woman, these were all too familiar to me, and as an Asian therapist, I found these to be a common thread between us. The good news is, you can change that thought process!

Most people I work with don’t look like they’re struggling. They’re functioning. Showing up. Handling everything. But underneath that, there’s tension, anxiety, or a constant sense of being on edge that doesn’t fully go away—no matter how much they try to think their way through it.
