I believe in the powerful abilities of a positive therapeutic relationship. I want clients to look forward to coming each week and to feel safe in our space. I have a good sense of humor and believe that using a mix of humor, honesty, reflection and compassion can have the greatest impact on helping us heal our hearts and live our best lives.
I am an engaged and empathic listener. I practice total acceptance and it is a priority for me to assess where my clients are currently to determine where we will begin our work. In that way, we determine the the starting point together. I work most effectively with people who are ready to engage in the process of honest self reflection.
