I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Dr. Norman Severe and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked in our local San Diego community for over 20 years. For the past seventeen years, I have devoted my private practice to serving the mental health needs of children, adolescents and families in need of therapeutic and psychological support. I beleive everyone can achieve great things in their lives by recognizing their strengths, working through struggles and overcoming obstacles by persevering and never giving up.

In hopes of meeting your needs, and providing you and your family an unhurried therapeutic experience, I maintain an intentionally small private practice in a comfortable San Diego neighborhood.

Emma Tecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing for more than six years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Santa Barbara and a Master's in Social Work from San Diego State University. Emma helps her clients by building and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship where the clients are empowered to gain a better understanding of themselves and the issues they are facing. She works with her clients to develop goals of treatment and teach them skills to support their desired changes. In her spare time, Emma enjoys hiking, running, yoga, cooking and crafting.

Debra Berl is a Licensed Clinical Social worker who completed her graduate degree in 1991 and was licensed in 1995. She has been working in the field of Social Work and Counseling since 1991. Debra treats clients from all backgrounds with a focus on adults and adolescents. Debra's area of experience and training include: grief and loss, coping with chronic pain and illness, depression, women's issues, LGBTQ concerns, supporting parents of children with special needs and treating anxiety disorders.

Hello! I provide therapy for youth, families, and individuals and have worked with various populations. I believe that everyone deserves a sense of belonging and a safe place to land while navigating life's challenges. I have experience treating complex trauma, family conflict, peer conflict, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, the impacts of social media/devices, and parenting challenges. Angela Rowe has been licensed since 2002 and has practiced in various mental health and substance use programs for over 25 years. Angela specializes in substance use, recovery, trauma, parenting and EMDR. Angela utilizes a genuine approach to assist clients in making the desired changes in their lives and help them become their best selves.

I have well over a decade of experience in the mental health field. My clinical background has been extensive, with experience in a wide variety of settings and with rather diverse populations. I received both my masters and doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Beyond that, I have earned a post-doctoral specialization in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the San Diego Psychoanalytic Institute.

Sammie Lo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California who has been practicing since 2013. Sammie has worked with many diverse populations, child and family services, foster care, family reunification, in schools, and with couples. She has specialty training with addiction, couple relationship, family dynamic, postpartum, multi-generation parenting influence, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
