Whether you’re stuck in cycles of fighting, avoiding intimacy, healing from betrayal, or feeling like roommates, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I help couples rebuild trust, navigate intimacy struggles, and learn how to actually talk about sex, about needs, and about the things that feel hardest to stay. We'll explore the patterns that keep you stuck like shutting down, blowing up, people pleasing, retreating, and create new ways of relating that feel more connected and enjoyable.

I incorporate a variety of therapy modalities specifically for working with problems related to infidelity, addiction, and a history of trauma.
I provide couples and individual therapy in both traditional weekly formats but also acute care (meeting multiple hours in one day). This intensive format is helpful for those who are experiencing a crisis in their marriage or would like to make progress more efficiently than what once-a-week therapy can offer. Check out the NYTimes article about this treatment method of relieving distress more quickly and with more long lasting change than what traditional weekly therapy can do. I reserve some evenings and weekends for intensives so we can fit you in as soon as possible, which does wonders in giving you hope for a path forward.

I also have experience with couples where there has been infidelity and are in crisis.
I have advanced training in an evidence based model called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), this model helps couples understand how they react to each other and helps them communicate from vulnerability rather than from reactivity. I am a couple therapist who is in charge of facilitating a conversation where the couple can listen to each other.

Relationships can be wonderful at the best of times, and downright painful at the worst of times. How well do you understand your reactions in these distressed moments? Your partner's? Do you feel out of control? Do you feel disconnected? These are just two ways that people can respond to relational distress. I can help you to slow down in these moments to help you express yourself in a way that is congruent, and most importantly, in a way that lets you be heard by your partner, family, co-workers, and yourself.

Whether you’re navigating conflict, healing after betrayal, exploring ENM, or simply longing to reconnect, I can help you build a relationship that feels authentic, secure, and alive.
You're feeling stuck in the same pattern. You’ve had the same argument over and over—each one ending in silence, frustration, or tears. You love your partner, but lately it feels like you’re living beside each other instead of together. You miss the ease and closeness you once had, yet no matter what you try, the distance seems to grow. And maybe you’ve hesitated to reach out for help. You’ve thought, "Eventually it will get better" or "We should be able to figure this out ourselves." But deep down, you know something has to change. You want to feel connected again. You just don’t know how.

I help couples rebuild trust, particularly after infidelity or other betrayal, improve communication, and deepen intimacy using trauma-informed, attachment-based EFT with a somatic approach.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples who long for deeper connection—in their relationships and within themselves. Whether you’re feeling emotionally disconnected and alone, stuck in recurring conflict, or struggling to have your needs understood and met, I offer a space where we can slow down, be curious, and begin to untangle what’s keeping you from the connection you want. I work with queer and heterosexual couples, including many interracial partnerships, and welcome the richness of diverse relationship experiences.

Infidelity Therapists

How does therapy for infidelity work?

A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?

Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?

When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?

Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
