For adolescents and adults who are emotionally exhausted but still searching for something to shift, I offer a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.
What inspires me most is witnessing the strength people carry, even when they feel broken. I believe healing happens through story—through meaningful relationships, creativity, and the freedom to explore who you are beyond the pain. That belief guides how I show up with clients: with curiosity, honesty, and care.

When relationships feel strained or anxiety takes over, it can feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells—exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Maybe past trauma still echoes in the present, making it difficult to trust, connect, or feel safe in your own skin. I help individuals untangle these emotional knots and move toward clarity and confidence. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills (2022) and draw from my experience in crisis centers and school-based settings to support people through life’s most difficult moments.

You are more than just a diagnosis, you're a human being who deserves to feel confident and actualized. I want my clients to look forward to coming into therapy, and enjoy our time together with a mix humor and healing. You may feel like the past is always just under the surface—anxious, on guard, or disconnected even when life seems fine on the outside. My clients often carry trauma they’ve never been able to fully talk about or move past. They want relief from the tension in their minds and bodies, to understand why they feel this way, and to feel whole again—calm, confident, and safe in their own skin.

FAQ - Teenage and Adolescent Therapists
What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.
How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.
How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.
How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
