Clients who work with me will find an inviting and collaborative environment where they can bring their “whole” self, the “messy” parts included, and engage in a process to better understand their stories and contexts, while receiving practical suggestions to support their experiences both during and outside of therapy sessions. I enjoy working with clients who wish to get unstuck from repetitive, troublesome, or self-defeating patterns of relating to themselves, others, or their world.

Step into a healing space where laughter is welcome. As a professional and a family man, I know how crazy life can get. Juggling work, family, and the kitchen sink is no joke. I've been there, still doing that, and got the t-shirt to prove it! Let's not even start on the childhood baggage we all cart around like old luggage. Whether you're side-eyeing therapy or feeling stuck in a rut, I've got your back with compassionate support and a dash of humor. Together, we'll unpack those heavy bags, set some goals, and take a transformative journey toward inner peace.

When you are worried that your child is not at their best and may be suffering from symptoms of depression, anxiety or behavioral problems, it can be difficult to know what to do. Making the decision to put your child in therapy can be a difficult one that comes along with fear of judgement, failure and anxiety. At the same time, we want what is best for our children and we want them to grow and succeed in life. It is my goal to assist children and families to be healthy, happy and thriving.

Do mornings feel like a battle just to get your child to school? Do you tense up whenever the school calls, worried about what might have happened this time? Maybe you’ve lost connection with your child and can’t figure out what’s going on with them. It can feel like there is nowhere to turn. The solutions you’ve tried may feel like putting a band-aid on the problem instead of something that creates long-term change. Many parents of neurodivergent children (ADHD, autism, etc.) or those with trauma in their past feel overwhelmed and unsure how to support their child. That’s where I come in!

Are you looking for change? Most likely the answer is yes. Knowing where you need the change is usually where we get stuck. What I know is, where you are now is not where you will always be. Whether you are feeling stuck, mad, sad, frustrated, intimidated, exhausted, fearful, unmotivated, bored or totally out of control, therapy can be a place to explore and identify your personal truth, so you can begin to simplify your life and create joy inside of yourself.

You are not broken. You are becoming. The past shapes how we love, grieve, and understand ourselves. If you’ve ever felt caught between expectations, navigating belonging, or carrying unspoken emotions, you are not alone. As a second-generation Asian American, I know our stories are layered—woven with resilience, love, and sacrifice. Culture and family can be sources of strength, yet they may also shape how we connect, protect, and express ourselves. Healing isn’t about letting go of where you come from; it’s about honoring your experiences, understanding their impact, and allowing yourself to grow into who you truly are.

I believe that we all make sense of our lives based on our experiences and relationships. Often, the stories we tell ourselves (or have been told by others) about our worth, our capabilities, our potential, and/or our lovability, are unhelpful narratives that hold us back in our lives. Identifying these thoughts/belief systems and learning to dismantle them is of primary importance in living a more content and intentional life. My clients return to therapy with me because they see me as skillful ally and compassionate presence that helps them to identify and break down the barriers that keep them from living more fulfilling lives.

One of the most important things for parents of pre-teens to remember, is that the biggest motivation for your child's behaviors is attention from you. Your child will try all sorts of things to get and keep your attention, and those behaviors that work will increase while those behaviors that don't will typically go away. Children love and thrive on praise from their parents, but in many cases, those behaviors that yield negative attention from you (such as yelling or punishing) will often reinforce those unappreciated behaviors, as well.

I help guys become better men, husbands, and fathers. As men, we are conditioned to try and solve life's many complexities on our own, but the truth is reaching out for help shows immense strength, not weakness. You may find yourself experiencing anxiety, depression, or issues in your relationships. Perhaps you're more irritable than usual or find yourself being "short" with those around you. Often mental health struggles manifest themselves differently in men than they do in women. I am a therapist that understands the unique challenges men face and how to help navigate through them.
