No one comes to therapy because everything is going right. You’re here because things can’t go on like this. Something has to change. But what?
That’s what I’m here for: to help you find a way forward. I believe that times of confusion and strife are also opportunities for breakthroughs. They call us to pause our old ways of thinking, and to begin the tough but rewarding exploration of our selves.
My goal is to help you help yourself. To do that, we’ll need to enter your pain in search of clarity. Eventually, that clarity will become your guiding light to a meaningful life.

On paper, you’re successful. But in high-stakes rooms—whether pitching investors, leading a team, or negotiating deals—old patterns can take over. You shrink, over-explain, or freeze just when you need your full presence. I specialize in helping entrepreneurs and executives use EMDR therapy to move past imposter syndrome, money fears, and burnout so you can show up with clarity, steadiness, and confidence that feels natural.

My ideal client is someone navigating life after past harmful behaviors, often while involved in the justice system. They are ready to take accountability and explore the roots of their actions. Many have complex histories shaped by trauma, shame, and disconnection. They seek a nonjudgmental space to build insight, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships. I use a strength-based approach grounded in CBT and the Good Lives Model to support lasting, meaningful change.

I have over 10 years working with victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, sexual abuse and child abuse.
Do you always feel on edge? Did something traumatic happen? Trauma is a disruption to the nervous system that often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life. It can affect our bodies, our minds and the way we relate to other people. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle as well as causing other mental health issues grow- such as depression and anxiety. I work with people of various cultures, sexual orientations, and gender identities and know that trauma is non-discriminatory.

Do you feel stuck, unworthy, or unsure about yourself and your choices? Do you struggle to find joy, move through your feelings, or feel consumed by your thoughts? Life is full of challenges that can leave us feeling lost, confused, disconnected, or even hopeless. We can distract ourselves with our work, technology, and sometimes healthy habits. It can feel like we’re stuck in a loop that makes life feel like it’s not our own. At times, it may feel like we’re all alone. Like no one else understands. And we can’t share what we’re going through with anyone around us. All we need is someone to listen. Someone to care.

If you could let go of anything, what would it be?
If you are done talking about it, done doing workbooks, and done simply "understanding" your pain while nothing changes, we should talk. I provide short-term, intensive therapy that resolves the root cause of your issue.
Integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), my work is active and experiential. I connect directly with the subconscious parts of you to stop symptom management and spark real, collaborative healing. Whether you are dealing with trauma, panic, grief, or relationship ruts, you don't have to stay stuck. Reach out

Sexual Abuse Therapists
How do therapists treat sexual abuse?
A good therapist will be nonjudgmental and possibly demonstrate active listening, repeating back what the client says to show that they have understood. These skills allow people to feel comfortable discussing their traumatic experiences openly. Some important treatment goals are to restore a sense of safety and to rebuild confidence. In addition to working one-on-one with the patient, a therapist might bring in supportive family members to assist the client.
Do you have to talk extensively about sexual abuse in therapy?
Survivors frequently find it difficult to describe what happened to them out loud. They can even still be in a state of denial if the sexual abuse occurred recently. It is important for survivors to acknowledge that what happened isn’t their fault and to challenge and reappraise any unhealthy feelings or thoughts as they arise. Art therapy and play therapy are useful non-verbal means of communication for some survivors.
How long does treatment for sexual abuse take?
Recovery from sexual abuse can be a long and difficult process. Some survivors are able to move on naturally on their own, given time, while others require the guidance of a trained therapist. Therapy needs vary and can range from a few sessions to months or even years. Healing from sexual abuse takes time, and everyone’s journey will look a little different.
Can trauma symptoms caused by sexual abuse come back after treatment?
As occurs in many cases of trauma, survivors of sexual abuse may experience PTSD-like symptoms long after the abuse has ceased or after an initial round of treatment has occurred. In such a case, there is evidence that prolonged exposure therapy is a useful treatment for survivors, and may be more efficacious than supportive counseling alone. While triggers may continue to cause distress, the idea is that, with time and repeated exposure, their power will fade, allowing survivors to move on with their lives.
