I’m passionate about helping individuals and couples overcome challenges surrounding intimacy, infidelity, communication, and connection.
Much of my work has focused on helping clients navigate life transitions and get out of repetitive cycles to reignite the spark that they once felt. I do this through restoring healthy foundational patterns of attachment and utilizing unique experiential techniques to get you to a place where you feel empowered to conquer life’s obstacles.

I enjoy working with insightful and reflective people struggling with relational issues like infidelity, intimacy, moving on from a relationship and poly/open relationships.
I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy in my work, however, I select treatment theory based upon the needs of clients after considering the strengths of the individuals, problems being addressed and openness to particular theoretical frameworks.

Maybe it's a relationship that's falling apart, a painful betrayal, difficulties with food and feeling comfortable in your body, or a growing sense that you've lost yourself.
I help people get unstuck in the moments when life feels the heaviest. In therapy, I bring a balance of clear insight, honest and direct feedback, and the kind of emotional depth that allows us to go beyond surface-level solutions. My goal is to not only help you understand what you’re experiencing, but how to create change and take steps in a new direction.

I support stressed adults and couples with trauma, infidelity, and sexual concerns.
My clients tell me that they feel like their voice truly matters, and that’s not something they’ve felt in a long time. Most of my clients have high expectations for themselves-I have high expectations for myself, too, and I work hard to support you so you can feel better. You deserve the life and relationships you want.

The issues I address are typically related to unhealthy sexual behaviors, infidelity, broken relationships, drugs/alcohol, dishonesty/lying, financial recklessness, and gambling.
My goal for each man I work with is to provide hope and support while facilitating the recovery process. This usually requires us to dig deep and figure out why we engage in destructive behaviors. It also requires us to develop a treatment plan that specifically targets the maladaptive behaviors and reduces the chance of relapse.

Trauma leaves wounds that don’t always heal. And you “don’t get over it,” either. Instead, it runs in the background, quietly shaping every part of your life. It’s what’s fueling your anxiety, your depression, and your relationship conflicts. That unresolved trauma is the reason you’re stuck in patterns you can’t explain – like emotional distance, frequent arguments, stress that never lets up, or unhealthy coping like substance use. Life may look “fine” from the outside, but inside, something is off. It’s a burden you carry, and it’s lonely because you feel like no one could ever really see or understand what you’re going through.

When your relationship is falling apart, nothing is more painful, lonely, and frightening. Your once best friend is now a foreign stranger, and the foundation of a family you participated in building is falling apart right before your eyes. The pain can become unbearable, and the best you can do is manage the pain so it doesn't completely destroy you. In these moments finding a solution may elude you or seem to be beyond your ability. Seeking a professional during such times can help you, and the ones you care most about in this world, get your life back on track.

Maybe you've experienced a betrayal like an emotional or physical affair.
I help couples learn to communicate effectively, reconnect, and learn to prioritize their relationship. Marriage counseling should feel safe enough to explore hard things but also practical enough so that you make progress. We’ll always go at your pace, never pushing faster than you're comfortable with.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
