My approach to therapy is client-centered with various integrated, evidence-based interventions, such as EMDR and CBT, in efforts to tailor your therapy to your specific goals.
Welcome and congratulations on starting your venture to self-growth! I recognize that seeking help may not be easy, whether you are just beginning or continuing your therapeutic journey. However, seeking help is a powerful and courageous step to take in your life. We as human beings all experience our share of life stressors and struggles that affect our lives. How we allow these stressors to affect our lives is the most important. I am a LMFT with years of experience treating adults, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, trauma, parenting, life changes, people pleasing, poor boundaries, and maladaptive thinking patterns.

I offer trauma-informed therapy, including EMDR, to help clients process triggers, heal relational wounds, and feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally safe.
Are you exhausted from striving to do everything right? Maybe you fear rejection or criticism, even when you’re doing your best? Do you judge yourself harshly while giving others endless grace? Or feel guilty when you try to put yourself first? The need to overanalyze distracts you from being present. You feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or your sense of peace. If so - nothing is “wrong” with you. Many of these patterns developed as ways for you to survive. As we work together, we will help your nervous system heal from these coping mechanisms and find the true YOU again!

Trained in EMDR and the Gottman Method, I provide trauma-informed care and also support clients with integrating insights from plant medicine journeys into lasting healing and meaningful change.
I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to believe therapy doesn't work. After finally experiencing a therapist who truly saw and understood me, I realized healing begins with the relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, accepted, and genuinely heard. Whether it's your first session or your hundredth, I want therapy to be a place you look forward to. I work with adults, couples, teens, and older children facing trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, parenting struggles, and life transitions with warmth, curiosity, and compassion.

I use a unique blend of EMDR and IFS, with somatics under a feminist frame.
I specialize in helping women quiet self-doubt and trust their intuition. You've built the life that was supposed to feel like enough. The career, the relationships, the reputation. And still, underneath all of it, there's a voice. Quiet, persistent, a little inconvenient. Telling you something isn't right. That you've been performing rather than being authentic to you. That voice isn't anxiety. It's intuition.

EMDR Therapists
Who is EMDR for?
EMDR was initially developed as a treatment for individuals with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for whom memories of a deeply distressing experience can be inadvertently triggered by random everyday events. The procedure has since been applied in the treatment of many other conditions. For example, it is used by some therapists to treat anxiety disorders including panic and phobias, depression, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and some personality disorders. It is suitable for adolescents and adults.

Why do people need EMDR?
People need EMDR as a way to manage distressing memories that in some way hamper the ability to function in the present. The procedure is believed to target the way memories are stored in the brain. Evidence indicates that past disturbing experiences cause ongoing distress because they were not adequately processed, and when such memories are triggered in the present, they are accompanied by all the emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations as the initial experience.

What problems does EMDR treat?
First and foremost, EMDR is intended as a treatment for PTSD, to defuse distressing memories that intrude on and impair everyday functioning. It is also often used to help those who are subject to panic attacks, phobias, and other forms of anxiety. In addition, EMDR has been used to treat individuals with depression, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

What happens in EMDR therapy?
First the therapist takes an individual’s history, and then the therapist and client decide which distressing experience(s) will be the target(s) of the exercise, delivered via a side-to-side visual stimulus requiring lateral eye movements. The client will be asked to activate thoughts, feelings, and any body sensations related to the troubling experience. The eye movements are said to reduce the emotional charge of the memory, so that the experience can then be safely discussed with the therapist and digested, minimizing its ability to trigger anxiety.
