Amina has experience working with high risk children who receive special education in a clinical day school. Amina works with 3-15 years of age of varying academic levels, learning abilities, and behavioral and emotional issues.

I am a Children and Individual therapist specializing in behavioral challenges, anxiety, add/adhd, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Rather than a one size fits all approach to therapy, I pull from a variety of modalities and incorporate different interventions and skills based on the individual clients needs and goals.

I am an Air Force veteran with a passionate in helping others. I was born in the Philippines but raised in Maryland. After graduating from high school, I made the decision to serve in the United States Air Force as an Equal Opportunity Advisor. During my time in the military, I came face-to-face with trauma and learned about the complexity of the human brain. It became evident to me that having a trusted person by your side can alleviate emotional intensity.
