I work well with individuals recovering from emotional mismanagement, trauma and the stigma associated with psychiatric labels. I love helping people who struggle with self-regulation, compassion fatigue, or emotional exhaustion. People who consider themselves to be an empath, energy sensitive person, or those who feel drained by the emotional intensity of others benefit from working with me. I help remove emotional blocks that cause anxiety, overwhelm and confusion. Clinical neuroplasticity or cognitive repair, occurs when subconscious beliefs reprogram in the brain. When a client is ready for next level healing, I meet them there.

I believe that life's challenges do not need to be experienced alone and that there is immense value in having someone by your side to support you. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to hold space with clients and to be present with them as they experience the hard and the heavy of life.

I draw from trauma-informed, psychodynamic, somatic, and parts work modalities to support deep, lasting change.
You may be the one others rely on, capable, caring, and used to holding it all together. Yet inside, you feel disconnected from yourself, caught in self-doubt, anxiety, or a sense that something is “off.” You’re navigating life transitions such as career, motherhood, identity, relationships, grief, or healing from complex trauma and want space to explore your inner world and reconnect with your authentic self.

In our work together, I will aim to help you feel understood as we explore the life difficulties you have faced, and currently face. I emphasize empathy in my work, and provide a safe environment in which to help you process your painful experiences and understand how they may be influencing your current struggles. Unprocessed emotional pain is commonly at the core of the symptoms we experience; yet it is often dismissed or suppressed. We will process your feelings and experiences to help make sense out of them and reduce your symptoms.

You've done therapy before, but you're ready for deeper work that changes how you relate to yourself and others. You're the one everyone depends on; capable, reliable, always holding things together. Yet, you're exhausted from over giving, struggling with boundaries, questioning your worth, or repeating painful relationship patterns. I specialize in codependency, complex trauma, emotional neglect, and depression. Together, we go beyond symptom management to heal the deeper wounds driving these patterns so you can build relationships rooted in authenticity, confidence, and genuine connection instead of guilt, fear, or obligation.

Let’s face it: you’re exhausted. You might look put-together on the outside, but internally overwhelmed. Maybe your mind rarely slows down, or you replay conversations in your head. Maybe you have become the person everyone relies on while quietly running on empty. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
If you're tired of adapting to environments that never quite felt designed for you, we can work together to create a life that feels more sustainable and aligned with you.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
