Hi and welcome to my profile, I am glad I popped up in your search. Traumatic experiences change your brain which affects how you feel, think and act. People report having brain fog, hypervigilance, numbness, nightmares and flashbacks; and are left with paralyzing depression and anxiety. EMDR might be right for you if you are experiencing social or generalized anxiety, depression, unhappiness at work, in your relationship or family of origin. The most important thing to know about trauma is that you can heal from it.
I work with people who are unhappy in their relationships, clients who have experienced trauma, and all types of anxiety disorders. My clients describe me as a genuine, intuitive and warm therapist and that they feel truly connected to me. My goal is to be with you on your journey as you find your way back to yourself.
I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to answer questions and for me to get a feel for what your needs are. If we are not a good fit I will provide you with resources to find another therapist. It is extremely important to find the right person, someone you feel safe with.
