Many of the individuals and couples I work with find themselves in vulnerable seasons — navigating infertility, pregnancy and postpartum shifts, reproductive loss, grief, midlife transitions, or the lingering impact of childhood trauma.
Using a trauma-informed, holistic approach integrating EMDR, IFS (parts work), and body-based somatic practices, I help you regulate your nervous system and build insight into patterns that keep you stuck. We’ll combine trauma and grief processing with tools to regulate your nervous system and create lasting transformation.

I believe that our lives are built on relationships. Be it between parent and child, partner and partner, supervisor and employee, or peer and peer, relationships can be healing and rewarding, but they can also be painful and difficult. We all know the stress and heartache that can come from a relationship in distress and we all know that desperate, painful feeling of wanting relief. Helping people find their way through these difficulties and back to each other is one of the most rewarding and exciting things I do. I specialize in helping families connect and thrive.

Your overall wellness extends beyond your physical health and, by taking this first step to find a therapist, you are showing yourself love and compassion. Thank you for making your emotional and mental well-being a priority. Change takes time, is difficult, and can be scary but is ultimately, liberating and transformative. When we make changes in our lives, we open ourselves up to growth and new possibilities. Ghandi believed “the future depends on what you do today.” I believe each of us can overcome the obstacles that impact our relationships, happiness, quality of life, and keep us from being our most authentic selves.

I’m passionate about helping women transform their lives. Supporting them on their path to growth and healing. Being a woman in today’s modern world is hard. There’s pressure to have a healthy relationship, successful career, to be a good parent, and to be physically and emotionally healthy. High expectations of us take a toll on our minds and our bodies. Many women I work with talk about losing themselves and feeling frustratingly stuck. You want to feel grounded and confident. You need time to look inward and heal. You’re ready to develop a pathway forward, one where you feel hopeful and in control. You're in the right place.

My ideal clients are caregivers, professionals, and creative thinkers who look put-together but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. As a survivor of PTSD and postpartum depression, I know how painful it can be to feel disconnected—and how powerful it is to be seen without judgment.
I use EMDR and somatic-based therapies to help you reconnect with yourself, release old patterns, and feel more grounded in who you are. Inner-child healing is also a big part of my work, helping you break free from beliefs that no longer serve you.

I help parents of young children recover from crippling worry and insomnia. The poet Hafez puts it well: "Fear is the cheapest room in the house. I would like to see you in better living conditions." The cycles of rumination, avoidance, and sleepless nights can make you believe that you will never feel like yourself again. You're looking into therapy because you want to feel better and reconnect to the most important relationships and activities in your life.

I offer a warm and conversational approach to support individuals and couples in the process of exploration, reflection, and healing. Working collaboratively, I will help you bring awareness to the patterns of thinking or engaging with others that may no longer be serving you. By deepening your understanding of the roots and impact of these patterns and extending compassion towards the parts of yourself that developed them initially, you can begin to cultivate some space and freedom from their hold on you and live with more ease and clarity.

There is so much that happens during fertility journey, pregnancy and postpartum that isn't openly talked about.
I offer EMDR & other trauma focused therapies to treat depression, anxiety & reproductive trauma (TFMR, stillbirth, NICU, miscarriage, fertility process, birth trauma). A large part of my practice is treating old trauma and childhood wounds that commonly resurface when becoming a mom/parent.

I help adults make sense of their experiences in a meaningful way. People come to me who are inquisitive and trying their best, yet still feel detached and longing for a better understanding of their lives. Oftentimes they’ve been in the driver’s seat going 100 miles an hour for years and can’t quite figure out how to slow down. Together, we work to slow fast-paced life, be present, and ultimately, see the once-blurry scenes in a clearer way. Just as each road trip is unique, so too is our tailor-made therapy. If you’re open-minded, motivated, and filled with curiosity, let’s see if we’re a good match!

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.
When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.
How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviors. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.
Are there specific medications for postpartum depression?
In 2019, the FDA approved the first medication designed to treat postpartum depression. The medication is called brexanolone and is delivered intravenously by a medical professional over the course of a few days. However, typical antidepressants, which are more accessible, can also treat postpartum depression. The disorder is often best treated through a combination of medication and therapy.
