I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming and sex-positive therapist (welcome my kinky and Poly/ENM folks).
My hope is that through therapy, you can come home to yourself, live more fully alive, and experience deep and transformational healing. Life can quickly become overwhelming, dysregulating, and agonizing in the aftermath of a traumatic event or after years of experiencing complex and compounding life stressors. I want you to know you’re not alone and I’m here to offer you a safe space to experience relief and healing. My love for therapy brought me into this field and it is such an honor to do the work I do. In our sessions together, I desire to create a safe space where you are heard, fully seen, and accepted just as you are.

Transpersonal can be broken down to mean "beyond the self" – "trans" is beyond, "personal" is the self.
Don’t recognize yourself in the mirror? Feeling out of integrity with who you really are? Struggling to come into your identity with confidence? Isolated and hopeless, or lost in your relationships? I deeply understand how painful these challenges are, and how awful it is to be misunderstood. As a queer, sober woman I've worked through many of these challenges myself. This is why I specialize in working with young adults, adolescents and couples. My goal as a transpersonal counselor is to guide you toward self-realization and freedom from the weight of your past, expanding beyond the traditional western framework of therapy.

My specialties include working with the LGBTQ+ communities, especially providing affirming and informed care to transgender, gender expansive, and nonbinary folks.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and affirming. I also often use humor. I believe that so much of our suffering is rooted in feeling alone and disconnected. We feel far away from important parts of ourselves and from people we love. I see therapy as a place where we can be curious together, where we seek reconnection with ourselves and others, and where we practice self-compassion as a way through emotional pain. I am interested in working with folks who are curious about themselves, who are interested in learning how to live with themselves and others with more ease, and who want more agency and freedom.

You’d love to reconnect with your partner and build a happy and fulfilling life. But how? As someone who has weathered trauma, I’ve seen the impact that distressing events and mental health difficulties can have on your inner and outer worlds. Therapy allowed me to recover and move forward, and I now aspire to help you do the same.
