Teen angst? Bring it on! I work with adolescents, teens, and parents in navigating some of the most difficult years. If you are having difficulty connecting with your child, tween, or teen I will assist you in building your connection while setting boundaries as a parent. Sounds like a difficult feat? Remember that it is from the challenging times that we learn and grow the very most. Do you remember what it was like getting through middle school? Many of us would like to forget, however, with assistance it does not have to be so difficult for your child or for you to reach them.

I have been offering psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families for the past 27 years. I would particularly like to work with couples, whether it is in the very beginning of the relationship to check for compatibility, during the relationship to deal with problems that arise, or working on amicable separation. I offer conflict resolution to individual, couples and families. I am also trained in divorce mediation to work on uncontested divorce where we can create a win/win situation for both parties. All the work can be done in a few sessions and this could save you legal fees that can run into tens of thousands of dollars.

Hi, you! Congrats on taking steps to make changes in your life- it takes a lot of vulnerability to do so. Every one experiences their own unique journeys throughout their life, which may come with various challenges and growth. Some of these challenges may look like feeling stuck, being bought back to previous life experiences, or finding yourself returning to similar destructive patterns. At some point we have to stop and ask ourselves- do I want to continue feeling this way, or is it time to change something?

In-person in San Francisco and Pacifica for Outdoor sessions- walk and talk or find a quiet spot.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and have already spent years in therapy or personal growth. On the outside, things may look “fine”—yet inside there’s a persistent sense of disconnection, loneliness, or frustration, especially in relationships or a sense of purpose.
I specialize in working with emotionally intelligent, queer, and creative adults who are tired of understanding themselves but still feel stuck. Together, we focus on therapy that creates change you can actually feel—not just talk about.
If you’re looking for a therapist who works slowly, relationally, and with depth—this may be a good fit.

At the heart of our struggles and pains are relationships. At the heart of our hopes and dreams are relationships. Whether it is your relationship with anxiety and depression, with your career, with your partner, sister, son, daughter, boss, or parent-everything is about relationships. Therapy helps you tackle some of the most challenging questions we all face. How do we repair what needs to be fixed in our relationships, including the relationship with ourselves? What needs attention, a new perspective, a better skill, or emotional resolve to enable you to become more authentic and improve your connection to self and others?

I currently see new clients on Fridays, offering both in-person and virtual sessions in Pacifica, CA.
You may notice your child or teen is deeply aware of others’ feelings, sensitive to their surroundings, or experiences the world more intensely than those around them. They are often empathetic and thoughtful, yet may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelm, or feeling misunderstood at home, at school, or with friends. At times, they may try to keep the peace by shrinking themselves, taking on others’ emotions, or holding things inside. You may recognize these same tendencies within yourself. Therapy can help make sense of patterns like holding feelings in, over-adjusting, or balancing care for others with care for yourself.

My multi-cultural perspective allows me to support clients from many countries in person and online.
Sometimes in life we experience seasons of feeling adrift and lost. Other times we have faced immensely painful circumstances which have left a lingering impact on our thoughts, mood and behavior. Working together we can illuminate pathways to resolve these challenges and reach a sense of safety, connection and purpose. As a Somatic Psychotherapist, I specialize in restoring a mind/body connection along with focusing on overcoming the distress caused by a sudden transition, loss, violence, burnout and betrayal.

Currently accepting in-person clients only, with the choice of meeting in a traditional office setting or exploring ocean-side therapy.
You might seem fine on paper. I work with what’s underneath. Inside, you’re anxious, exhausted, and stuck. The thoughts won’t stop. You’re white-knuckling your way through work, relationships, and the parts of life that are supposed to feel restful. I work with adults and couples who are burned out, overwhelmed, and done performing. Many of my clients have tried therapy before. Maybe they picked up a few deep breathing exercises, but the deeper patterns never shifted. They want something more real.
