I believe three core things about therapy: 1. People are inherently healthy. 2. Therapy is not just about symptoms. 3. If the therapy is working, you'll know it. Traditionally, psychotherapy has been associated with illness while wellness and depth have been left to the self-help movement. The theory I practice sees everyone as sound at the core. As a result, there is no ceiling on "getting better." Someone with symptoms wants to feel more like him or herself, which I aim to make happen as quickly as possible. At the same time, I help people to achieve clear interpersonal, professional, and creative change.

I work with adult and teen clients in the Bay Area who may be struggling in their relationships with themselves and with others, who may describe these concerns as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem or codependency.
Hello! I am a Jungian psychotherapist, primarily based in the East Bay. I work with children, teens and adults. Most of my clients are people who have experienced being othered or marginalized, either by society or by family and friends. Many of my clients are queer, and/or neurodivergent, and/or have experienced trauma through abuse and loss. All of my clients are seeking to cultivate healthy relationships with themselves and others. Our work together aims to heal the wounds that get in the way of that happening.

I often work with those who identify as sensitive or who struggle with self-esteem, communication and relationships.
Maybe you struggle with negative thoughts, difficult emotions, anxiety or navigating interpersonal relationships. Maybe you're a parent whose child struggles with anxiety, intense emotions or behavioral challenges and you want to seek help for them (and you). If so, I may be able to help. I work with individual adults, as well as with children (and their parents) who are struggling with these challenges. I can help you identify and explore patterns, process difficult emotions, learn new skills, improve communication, cultivate increased emotional regulation and build healthier relationships with yourself and others.

During challenging times, people often feel defeated and focus on what is wrong. I want to shift the focus from what is "not working" to identifying what is "working." We will work to uncover patterns (behavioral, thought beliefs, relationship), that will lead you to making better decisions. I want to offer a safe place to process thoughts and feelings around issues that can be challenging. I am interested in helping people who experience stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss and challenges with relationships (social or romantic). Many conversations are around “adulting” and how to manage life, career, relationships, etc.

Currently offering Virtual Sessions only. I keep things very friendly & casual by using relatable language, questioning ideas about being 'broken' or needing 'fixing' & avoid certain buzz words that can alienate others. By including humor & other non-traditional approaches in my work, I am a good fit for those looking for someone who is not very 'therapist' like but still has all the experience, therapeutic skills & insight to help create positive change. I am often able to connect with children & adults that have previously not enjoyed or benefited from counseling. I do not see couples or really young children due to telehealth.

My work ranges from people who have experienced serious trauma, and suffer from depression and anxiety to those who just want to feel better in their lives and their relationships. I love working with couples. I know from my own experience of being married since 1990 that relationships need nurturing and intention. I love helping couples find intimacy that may have been lost. I really see my work as helping individuals and couples live their best life!

I specialize in anxiety, self esteem challenges, and trauma, helping adults understand how past experiences shape present patterns.
You might find yourself overthinking, caught in worry or rumination, or people-pleasing while putting your own needs aside. You may feel anxious in relationships or wonder how your past continues to shape your present. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. In our work together, we’ll gently explore the roots of these patterns while building practical tools to help you respond in ways that feel more grounded, intentional, and aligned with what matters to you. I take a two-part approach, blending deeper, insight-oriented work with tools you can use in daily life to help you feel more like yourself.

I work with adults and couples, supporting clients with relational neglect trauma, anxiety, grief, self-development, personal growth, and East–West cultural integration, including coping with the loss of a loved one to suicide. I help couples understand their own and other’s emotional needs, build healthier communication, and create more caring relationships. I also help people reconnect with their roots through exploring their own culture, so they can become more grounded in their self identity and move toward a deeper integration of Eastern and Western cultures.

Taking the step to start therapy — or to start again — takes real courage. Something in you is ready to stop just managing and start actually understanding what's underneath. I work with people navigating depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, family issues, career transitions, trauma, and the cumulative weight of discrimination and systemic oppression.

Therapy provides a special opportunity to slow down and focus on what's most important to you, with skillful guidance and support. I create a nonjudgmental environment for you to explore the difficulties, heartaches, old wounds, stuck places, or joys and celebrations of your life. This process involves listening to the wisdom of your body and emotions as well as your mind. Collaborating with you, I will support you to develop a more intimate relationship with yourself and your many facets, to expand your capacity to satisfyingly connect with others, and to illuminate and transform what blocks you from living your best life.
