Everyone runs into trouble at some point in their life. When they do, they often benefit from talking to someone who isn't primarily their friend or member of their family, someone who is empathic, curious, non-judgmental, and relentlessly focused on helping you feel better. Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all enterprise, but has to tailored to what you need. Whether it's about simply feeling less anxious or depressed, or mastering an inhibition or block you've had all your life, therapy can get you back on the track you once were on or want to be on.
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of California (license number PSY 28050). I provide psychological assessments of children and adults. Neuropsychological assessment can be useful for identifying a cognitive basis for stumbling blocks with academic achievement, social functioning, or occupational success. I also provide forensic and independent medical evaluations for both criminal and civil matters, including mental health diversion, competence to stand trial, mitigating factors relating to cognitive and emotional functioning, personal injury, short- and long-term disability, and employment discrimination.
Sometimes we all hit a wall, and the tools that we have been using to manage life's challenges are just not cutting it anymore. Many of the clients that I work with are feeling overwhelmed and out-of-control. They find that worry, self-doubt, and even physical pain have become uninvited, yet constant companions. They are hurting from sleepless nights, second guessing themselves, forgotten pastimes, and lost relationships. But they want more, and they begin to engage in counseling because they are ready to care for themselves in new ways.
People often come to therapy because they feel stuck in their lives, are experiencing anxiety or depression and are struggling with personal and professional relationships. My style is warm, supportive and engaged. I believe that the more access we have to our authentic selves, the more we can live a life that is deeply fulfilling. We will work collaboratively to develop a relationship in which there is room to take risks and experience aspects of yourself that may have been previously unknown to you. You will gain valuable tools to help you reach your goals personally, creatively, and professionally.
I am a clinical psychologist that works with children, adolescents, and adults in both English and Spanish. I believe that compassion and insight into one's personal struggles can lead to powerful, positive changes in life. I specialize in pediatric neuropsychological testing for children and young adults regarding learning, developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. My collaborative approach to psychological testing seeks to empower parents and their child to gain a new perspective and deeper understanding of a particular child's unique strengths and individualized needs.
I work best with clients that have been effected by codependency, narcissistic abuse and in relationship with those that are addicted. Its really hard to sometimes see the pattern or even how to get out of it. I listen, I help organize, I venture into your stuck places with you, support you as you do the "work" and feel the feelings. We work at your pace, with compassion and thoughtful inquiry form me. I keep you focused on your goal, on the life and the relationships you truly deserve and desire, I watch you make new discoveries and develop new patterns. In this process there's a lot of laughter, tears and thoughtful reflections.
Do you want a more fulfilling relationship with yourself, and perhaps with others? Do you feel that something is preventing you from living your fullest life and experiencing joy? Do you find it difficult to enjoy the present because of pain from the past or worried about the future? I want you to know there is hope if you identify with any of these statements!
People seek therapy when they feel unhappy, anxious, stuck in patterns and relationships that don't serve them or acting in ways that are self-destructive. Therapy can address and change outmoded ways of being. The therapeutic relationship is key to this work: It offers the possibility of exploring and understanding more effective and satisfying ways of relating to ourselves and others. I work with children, adolescents and adults in individual therapy, using a collaborative approach that centers on empathy, understanding, curiosity and exploration.
As the Lotus Flower I believe you have the potential within you to bloom from the muddiest of waters. My job is to simply assist you in finding the characteristics of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration, and rebirth. Assisting you to firmly plant your roots of self-confidence, strength, empathy, and self-love, back into your life.
I work with children, teens, parents, adults, and couples who are struggling with various aspects of life and wanting to make a change. My goal is to help you identify issues getting in your way and support you in making the changes necessary to feel better and improve your quality of life. Patients often come see me because they are anxious, over-thinking, unproductive, struggling with a relationship, or because a recent transition is throwing them off balance. In therapy you will gain insight about yourself and develop the coping skills you need to let go of negative thinking, live more mindfully, and feel more confident.

I’m a therapist with an overall strength-based perspective, certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe people function and perform their best when they learn to identify, value, and utilize their natural strengths as part of a plan towards overcoming barriers in life. While I typically draw from a variety of research-based modalities, depending on each client’s unique situation, I find CBT to be a very empowering form of therapy for clients that are motivated to take a proactive role in their treatment.

I work with gay men and queer people who would like to feel more empowered, more at ease, and more connected in their lives and relationships! It’s not easy to walk your own path and find safety, belonging, and purpose in this world. If you identify as LGBTQIA, you didn’t grow up with good models for queer relationships. Even if your life is "perfect on paper," it might be a challenge to find trust, deepen intimacy, set boundaries, stay centered, and go after the life you want.
Most of us will find ourselves struggling at some point. Maybe you are suffering from crushing depression or debilitating anxiety or drowning in waves of grief. Maybe you need help navigating a life transition or important relationship. Some may long to heal past hurts. Or perhaps you are simply overwhelmed by life’s many stressors. It is often at these times that we seek out therapy.
When you feel something in your life needs to change; be it career, personal, physical or spiritual I welcome you to share that journey with me. I will meet you where you are at and guide you to a safe place, optimizing your potential. My integrative approach towards therapy treats the whole person utilizing techniques from CBT, DBT, EMDR, humanistic and narrative therapy. You are unique and have challenges that require a personalized approach.
My background is in Health Psychology and I bring a Mind-Body perspective to my work. With any change comes growing pains, which is why I specialize in working with professionals navigating important life transitions including career decisions, romantic relationships, friendships, and adjustment to parenthood. Often individuals present questions on how they can feel more fulfilled or satisfied in life. Or how to grow in confidence, or become more grounded in oneself. Many look to find better ways to find meaning and fulfillment in our Modern, Technology-Focused culture.
I like to start by making a warm and heartfelt connection with you, supporting and accepting you just as you are. From there, we work to transform difficult struggles into opportunities for greater self-love and richer understanding. Our process is collaborative, with you being at choice every step of the way. I use a blend of innovative approaches that have helped many hundreds of individuals and couples manifest, grow, and savor the relationships and sexuality they desire. In a relaxed, open, and deeply aware state, we discover our truths by gently dissolving shame-filled stories of the mind.
The Marsh Clinics® (TMC) offer psychotherapy for everyone, but especially for those who are underserved and have been marginalized. Our aim is to reduce the level of stigma around mental health and offer telehealth therapy for an entry point, but also face to face therapy. We are dedicated to transforming individuals, transforming communities.
I believe that our minds and hearts, like our bodies, possess an innate wisdom and ability to heal, given the right environment and structure. Sometimes we get stuck in old patterns and beliefs that helped us in the circumstances we learned them in, but need to be updated in order to allow us to fully embody our best, most authentic and empowered selves. Therapy can assist us in learning more about what automatic programs our system is running, and give us the tools to make these changes.
